A well spread out motel that doesn’t make you feel claustrophobic. The rooms are quite simple but have everything one needs. With some modern touches such as rain head shower, microwave and a very comfy bed.

Clean, comfortable and well organised. Staff were great. Meals were excellent.

Por value for money

Accomodation in Moranbah is about twice the price of elsewhere in regional Queensland. Always booked out by mining related companies, so they don’t have to try hard for customers. The unit had two sleeping areas. The queen bed had lamp side tables and plugs but no lamps and no direct overhead lights, so impossible to read in bed. The king bed had a similar setup but only one bedside lamp. Tiny fridge. The only equipment was two mugs, two spoons and a bottle opener. Stayed two nights and the room service for the second day was to pull up the bed covers, not even a tuck in or sheet smoothing.

Restaurant was closed but information about room service and breakfast menu in rooms did not say this . The price was exorbitant for what was available.

Decent size room, pool, tidy.

Too expensive for what it is. Didn’t appreciate being asked when we were leaving by cleaners at 8:30am way before the 10am check out.

The room was well above my expectations, very clean, huge Tv an the King Bed was super comfortable. I did ring the property prior to checking and spoke to Georgia. There was confusion with my booking as their was another personal with a very similar name to mine. Georgia was very professional and sorted out the bookings. Instructions were sent to my phone for an afterhours check-in and everything worked like clock work. A big thanks to Georgia for sorting everything out.

Nothing specific to the motel, woke in the morning to the smell of diesel after the person in a close by unit ran their diesel vehicle for a period before leaving the property. The exhaust must have been close to the air conditioning iintake.

The facility was neat and tidy

I didn't like that there wasn't any cutlery in the room to eat dinner with on a tea spoon.We were not advised prior to booking 4 days earlier that the restaurant was closed. I think this is very unprofessional.

All the staff were exceedingly kind friendly and helpful in every way including the room cleaners the grounds person and the staff at the reception. They upgraded our room to a better location and size in order to make our stay more comfortable. The grounds and pool area were very clean tidy and well looked after

Large room, comfortable bed

The restaurant was closed but advertised as open on the listing. Found 4 large cockroaches and many small ones in the room and bathroom during our stay. Room was very expensive at $260 a night. Room had a small microwave but no cutlery or plates, just 2 cups and 2 teaspoons.

Great size room , huge comfortable bed and loved the overhead shower. Staff very friendly and helpful have stayed previously and will stay again but some areas need attention.

The restaurant was closed apparently due to staff shortages but NO mention on the website just a notice one day before arrival NOT GOOD ENOUGH ! The lounge / kitchen chairs were oil stained all three of them.For the price charged No Biscuits supplied, No Mini bar these small items build your credibility and reputation. Please address these issues.

I realise there are new owners, and they may be on-to0it already, but outside up-keep to lawns etc was obviously not happening.

I always enjoy my stays here as it is my choice of location and the rooms are great.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like but this is the first time I have stayed when the restaurant wasn’t running completely. The meal I did get though from the small menu options was good.

Room was large with a comfortable king-sized bed. The manager was good and tried his best, but the below mentioned negative issues should not happen.

Booked in a given room. Room was unmade. Returned to reception and provided with another room which when entered was also unmade. Returned to reception and provided with another room was made up, but key did not work for that door. Manager had to left me in. The air-conditioner rattles like one of the old window mounted systems. Might need to be replaced as it has clearly seen better days.

new ownership. grounds look messy and starting to overgrow. no restaurant to eat at any more and your I. room amenities are being replaced with cheaper products. room rate still a premium though.
