Rydges Campbelltown

Well to be honest there wasn’t very much

Ok let me start with the staff that was on when I started there were not very nice at all to me saying that there were to the people in front of me they were rude and to say I think they were racist towards me , and I am a Australia born here and I’m 58 . The air conditioning did not work in my room and after my wife asked them about it they told us that there was nothing wrong with it and did not even send maintenance up to check so we started there in this room that was at least 30 decrease and to say my wife has MS for the pice we paid it was the worse place we ever paid for and we have stayed at a lot cheaper places that where cleaner and treated with a lot more respect I would not recommend this property to everyone .

Staff were excellent. Couldn't fault them. Cheerful & helpful

Had to move rooms due to poor tv reception. Rooms are a bit sad. Could do with a bit of refurbishing. Stain on chair not very nice, yuck. 2nd room bathroom very dark. Not sure how clean it was.

Want my room Refresh and didn't get done I ask for new towels and didn't get them

Great bed, clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and great location.

Leaking electric jug, shower difficult to get in and out of and water went everywhere.

Rydges Campbelltown is where I stay when doing work on that side of Sydney.it is central to all in that area and a great place to stay, rooms are good, Beds are very comportable and food is good.

The veiw from Balcony could have been better may be a higher room with a veiw and not looking at courtyard.

The bed was compfortable and very clean. I did not have breakfast at Rydges Cambelltown but I would consider it next time.

The reception were ok but did not realy make me feel welcome.

I was extremely disappointed to be given a disabled room, the shower curtain didn't even cover the opening of the shower, the bench seat for disabled use was broken and didn't stay flipped up so took up most of the shower and I hit my leg on it whilst in there leaving a dark bruise. The fan in the bathroom didn't work so the room smelt. I definitely will rethink my next booking in Campbelltown, which is sad Rydges is always our go to.

I loved that they let us check in earlier then the expected time. The staff was super friendly & was so easy to check in unlike other places.

Beautiful place to stay, bar and restaurant with buffet breakfast.

My minibar bench wasn’t cleaned fully.

The room was very clean and tidy, the beds were the best beds we have slept in ever. Very comfortable stay and staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

The lighting in the bathroom was very dim. There was no option to make it brighter.

The staff were lovely, parking was easy.

The pillows have no pillow protectors; so they stink of old hair oils. I felt a bit asthmatic in the room. Wet are was dated and getting mouldy. Shower was in a bath (I thought the pics showed a shower only) and the shower head wouldn't stay on (no matter how long I held the knife.out for). No shower cap, etc. The food was pretty average too and one dessert had mould in the fruit. Won't be staying there again.

The room was spacious. Bed was super comfy. Loved the location. So many options for dining at the front door.

Needs a thorough clean. /2 Small brown cockroaches seen on floor. Bathroom area. I expected 2 seats when you have a Queen room and two adults. There is only one stained seat.

Complimentary parking. Excellent staff and assistance. Good location to hospital.

Being older people with health issues, doing a high step in and out over the bath tub for the shower required both of us to assist each other for safety. There was a rail which was good but we needed to help each other.

fire alarm set off at 10.30 for absolutely no reason waking us up and not informing us of the situation for ages until fire department had already left.
