Vineyard Hill

It was clean in a great location with comphy beds and we even had our own bbq

The bathroom was old with an odd shower head, that we could not get to work properly. And a leaking tap. There was not stove top and no dvd player. There reception was closed for our entire stay

Nice location

The place was tired, lack of maintenance and general care.

A poo in the loo and open bottles of water left in the fridge. Dirty bathroom. Fortunately clean sheets.

Dirty

Location was good, close to the vineyards.Kangaroos around at dusk and in the morning.

The property was not clean, it was actually dirty, I had to clean the surfaces before we used them. Wasn’t game to use the kitchen, which is a shame as that was our plan for dinner and breakfast. Cobwebs, dust, curtain rods fell down when we closed the curtains….There were no staff around, we didn’t see anyone else the whole time we were there. Was a bit eerie. The whole place needs some love.

The Property was clean, well maintained and well equipped. Basically I loved the property. Atmosphere was very cold ( very hot in Sydney) caught unprepared.

It was Christmas but we were disappointed as there was not a single person to be seen or talk( never saw the staff member), no grocery stores nearby and a big open jungle to look at. When we google searched all stores in Cessnock.

Location was good. Nice to sit on the deck early morning watching the kangaroos. Water was in the room for tea coffee. Air conditioning was going on arrival, making it lovely to walk into. Beds were reasonably comfortable.

There were no locks in the glass doors/ screens leading to deck so the villa could not be secured. The pool had lots of leaves on the bottom and was dirty. Spa had tiles missing and not working. Unable to close bathroom door fully as it stuck in the floor.

Good location and views

Needs a complete update. Very run down which is unfortunate as it has huge potential.

Its location was perfect for getting around the Hunter valley and it was peaceful beautiful sunsets and very nice to stay Buses for concert were available from this property and wine tour operator Two fat bloke picked up from this property

Convenient location, quiet and private. Beds also quite comfortable.

Fold out not made up as requested - thankfully brought sleeping bags for kids. No tea towel for washing up. Deck doors didn’t lock well. Could be cleaner. Missing the finishing touches but otherwise satisfactory for the cost.

Peaceful location

1. The Villa number wasn’t well presented.2. The kitchen wasn’t well equipped. The plates, bowls and cutlery were not cleaned. We had to clean them before using.3. No stove or cooktop to use for cooking. The only way to cook is by using the microwave.4. No bright lights in the villa. All lights are dimmed lights. 5. The TV is too small.

The view from our room was beautiful. Room nice and big wide verandah

Very run down. Nothing on site apart from your rooms. No pamper room. No restaurant. No reception No roof on verandah. TV did not work.

It had everything you needed, from the kitchen and the bathroom.

The cleanliness.

This property was quite central for getting around to the vineyards in the Hunter Valley. We had a visit from a Kangaroo as we departed. I was also able to do washing which was very much appreciated

The WiFi wasn’t on broadband therefore not the best connection

the location is great for access to the wineries

the rooms are very old and dated the towels where threadbare and grey there wasn't value for the money paid

Location was central, easy to get to.Shower worked and bed was reasonable.

Next door property did have loud music that ended before midnight, was just odd that they had a large function so close to a rental property.The notes on requirements for washing dishes and sheet cleanliness were a bit Air BnB ish.Kinda gave the impression they either don't want to clean or want to charge for it not occuring.

The location was spoilt by "Vinyard Hill"

Vinyard Hill was a dreary, uncared for site, the whole place needed a make over. It was totally deserted and desolate when my brother and I arrived and after a look around the site and in the "villas" we decided to leave, even though we had already paid.

Extra blankets and heated blankets was really nice. The view and outdoor seating was lovely in the morning watching the kangaroos.

Location was amazing

The villa was dirty, run down, no staff on site only 1 channel on the TV worked, porch light not working making it hard to see, towels were stained, kitchen bench sticky to touch, not impressed not even 1 star, not value for money at all

Good location

Toilet had an unflushed shit in it. No bedroom lights worked, power point behind bed falling off wall ( dangerous), no working smoke alarm in the cabin, bathroom toilet brush covered in used toilet paper, behind doors on floor never been cleaned
