Pokolbin Village Estate

This is the third time we’ve stayed at Pokolbin Village Estate…..It’s so well located, close to cafes ,restaurants and wineries, with a lovely, leafy outlook…The accommodation is spacious, clean and extremely comfortable….We arrived on a very hot day and found our room already air conditioned for us, providing a welcome relief from the outside temperature….The pool is also an added bonus, for a cool-off on hot Summer days….

Very comfy bed. Fabulous shower with great pressure. Everything was clean tidy.Staff on check-in was friendly and welcoming, showing on a map exactly where my room was situated. It was a lovely relaxing experience in a great location.I would definitely stay here again

Great location in the middle of the Hunter wineries. The property is spacious, large pool, and in a lovely setting. Easy walk to numerous eating options. Rooms are a good size and well equipped.

Could do with a tidy up as showing its age. Easy to fix.

Location was great for exploring Hunter Valley. The room was large, lounge area a benefit.

Great rural location in Hunter Valley. We managed a walking wine tour from the accommodation, but seemed to be very isolated. Fantastic!

We were upgraded to the Large 2x bedroom Cottage which was so much spacious as Hubby on a walker .The location was ideal as we did a Hot Air Balloon ride & meeting place just 5mins away at 4.30am .Cottage was perfect , comfy beds ,2x bathrooms was a bonus.We also requested an 11am checkout & was granted , which was appreciated .Will be back..

It had great on-site facilities, there was a coffee shop, chocolate, and gelato available… Bottle shop, restaurant, general store. It had it all!

Great location. Beautiful grounds. Clean accommodation. Small, but good pool. A family of kangaroos living in the area came out each evening.

Great location and very central to the region, having the cafe and deli etc on site was a big bonus as it meant we could pick up supplies if we didn’t want to go out.

The pool got quite busy on that super hot day … it wasn’t as spacious as the photo led us to believe!

air conditioning does not really get through to the bedroom. There is a fan but on really hot days (was 43deg when we were there) and it was hot in bedroom.

Our second stay at this property and cant fault it! Staff are friendly, the cabins feel as though you’re in the wilderness surrounded by nature & beauty.

Many groups of giant hornets on the balcony area we could not seem to get rid of which stopped us being brave enough to sit outside

Perfect location for us and we loved the simplicity of our room, it was very clean with everything we needed. We also enjoyed uitilising the BBQ by the pool and watching the many kangaroos around the premises. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Our bed was a bit hard

We had a fantastic stay here and were really impressed by how well equipped the room was. It felt very livable with a great sized fridge and freezer, plenty of cutlery and crockery, plus all the essentials for cleaning up. The host was very generous with provisions and supplied lots of coffee, tea, and biscuits.The location was perfect and very central to everything. We loved having a bakery, coffee shop, and restaurant right on site. It was also just a short drive to a steakhouse we really enjoyed.Inside the room, the bathroom was surprisingly spacious and the couch was super comfortable for relaxing while watching the available streaming services. The Wifi was amazing as it was fast and reliable. Practical aspects were also excellent including great parking and solid door security. A special mention for the provided bug spray because it was a thoughtful touch that definitely came in handy against the mosquitoes!

We loved how peaceful it was, also the vicinity to other Hunter Valley attractions. The cabin we had was quite clean and spacious and had a private balcony. All the amenities were clean and readily available.Upon arrival we saw few kangaroos ducks and a peacock which was a pleasant surprise.

The room did not have enough dishwashing liquid and a sponge to clean the plates after food.
