Pros +
- It was in a good location. Close to all the wineries.
- The staff were great. Room was nicely appointed and tasteful.
- Location was great. Staff were super friendly and accomodating. Rooms smelt really clean
Cons -
- The dining menu was limited and a little pretentious.
- Rooms were a little out dated. Tv were very glitchy.
- Didn't want an app! Please provide folders with hotel information. No forks, large plates in room. The rooms were clean, basic tasks done well but lack of attention to details:Corners dirty, bug squish marks on walls, freezer needs defrosting, cupboard doors need paint. Major things good, attention to details needed. Terrace tables outside reception weren't clean enough that we wanted to sit out there, large beautiful fountain disappointingly not working.

Phone call from staff the day before, asking again for requests, etc.Location great! Amenities available were great, more than we had time to enjoy.Good parking, air conditioning good. Balcony enjoyable. All minor requests when we were there happily met: extra plates, cutlery, etc. Staff great!!

The location was great as we were walking and there were cellar doors close by.
The rooms were a bit dated and could do with a lick of paint. However it was clean.
Good location, friendly staff, nice swimming pool p
No option for ground floor room
Familiarity. Bread n butter pudding. Relaxing.
Borderline of expensive. $300/night for and average room is pushing it.
It was close to everything and the property was well maintained. The staff were lovely and the pool area was great.
Location
Staff in the bar and dining room were very slow we stood at bar for 10 to 15 mins and no one came out and when I asked at front desk the response was she will be there somewhere so I had to go looking for her and that was on 2 nights (sat and sun) but the meals were excellent so maybe speak to staff
Great location, nice and close to allot of the hunter valleys best food and wine
Very dated, wasn’t the cleanest
Breakfast was excellent - high quality and exactly the sort of breakfast options you'd expect. Loved the bodywash, body lotion and shampoo options in the bathroom.
There were cobwebs and a spider in the bathroom. There was no tissue box left out (I had to look in the cupboards). The internet access was poor. The cool-white LED lighting in the room was cold and clinical - consider switching to warm-white globes.
Location and what it offered
The pool was great for kids the restaurant was clean and very welcoming the breakfast range was great and full.
Excellent central location. Staff were friendly and attentive.
While it was clean and very well presented, facilities seem a little tired and could do with some renovations.
Location was good
Room very tired with worn cabinets and needing a spruce up. Images on booking.com did not represent the reality.
Beautiful grounds & pool. Bar & restaurant were great
Had an infestation of small bugs in our room & shower leaked
Easy check in, obliging staff who could change my room location. Close to Hunter Valley Gardens and wineries. Will bring my family next year for a couple of days stay.
Room needed a bit of an upgrade.
Location
Air con couldn’t be lowered past 21 degreesThere was bugs everywhere at night
Location suited us, easy to get to Harrigans for meals.
Had a room upstairs, hard to negotiate with the stairs with a husband who is visual impaired.
Staff were efficient and helpful and the hotel was ideally located for the vineyards we wanted to visit.
The walkways needed tidying up.
Dirty bath jets were disappointing...
I booked the deluxe room for the spa bath and when I used it black grime came shooting out of the jets and the bath looked like it hadn’t been scrubbed in quite some time… I also left a drink on the bench and within 2 hours the area became infested with ants… we tried to tell reception on checkout and they did not seem remorseful or interested in any form of compensation.
