Forster and Wallis Lake Motel

Location and price. We only needed a place to sleep for one night. As it was peak holiday season it was great to find a central place, walking distance to the town centre.

Didn't return my phone call. I attended the office during office hours and the door was locked. The sign advised to phone for assistance. The call was not answered and I left a message. My call was not returned. Our room was left open?

The lady at the front desk was not welcoming. On entering the office to check in she snapped "wait outside".

The room was clean and had all the features advertised. It also looked the pictures on the webpage.

Fab location! We passed through for a night and it was perfect as we had time to check out town and beach. Clean, decent size and felt safe. In terms of motels one of the best we’ve stayed at overall

Anthony welcomed us with a smile and offered us a safe place to park our vehicle as we are relocating to Cairns and have a trailor in tow. He then recommended places to eat, walks to take and was just an overall great vibe!! Definitely recommend staying here

Location great, close to main street and restaurant's , beach only a short walk away. for me this is a good little Motel, its basic and comfortable for an overnight stay.

Excellent location right in centre of Forster, easy access to shops, cafes and restaurants. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. I liked that this was a manned motel as I am finding arriving at unmanned motels with no one to ask so annoying. Motel was set out nicely with bbq facilities available in centre of grassed area.Room set up well with settee, table and chairs and everything you need for a good overnight stay.

No safety chain on front door, security screen door had no key or facilty to lock it so we could have slept with actual door open and allowed air in through fly screen door.Unable to find how to turn light on outside our door, other units had a light on the porch. We arrived during daylight hours but I would imagine it would be difficult to get key into front door in the dark.

Great location, near town, lake and shops. Very quiet in the rooms. Great beds and pillows etc. Not long been refurbished. All amenities available, staff very accommodating and friendly.

Some bathroom fittings need some attention which will no doubt be done shortly given the condition of the rest of the room.

Location was walking distance to the ocean pool. Very quiet.

Poor door security. Wore door couldn’t be locked as no key provided. Door handle lock on main door was the only security and was very poor quality. Needs to have additional latch as extra security.

Anthony was so lovely and very helpful. Definitely stay again. This was our 3rd time. Motel was close to beach, pub, restaurants and main street. Easy walking to everything.

Did not pick up the rubbish over eight days and I have to carry some of it over half km to find a bin in the neighbourhood. I called after hours for an emergency I couldn’t open the door they didn’t answer and one of the customers helped me

Lovely stopover on the way through to Sydney for weary travellers from Qld. Anthony was an excellent host, proving great suggestions for exploring and dinner in Forster, all of which was a walk away.

It was all great for us. Would stay again at a pinch.

Extremely clean and amenities we forgot were there! They accommodated our late check in and were super helpful and contactable!

Some sanitary products for women would go along way!
