Forster Palms Motel

The staff were very thoughtful & turned on the a/C due to the extremely hot weather this particular day. The room was spacey & has all the basics required. Great for a short stay. The bowling club is nice and handy right next door too.

Very good for our needs. Close location to shopping, food & swimming pool where we attended a swim meet. .

Clean, comfy beds, super easy check in/out, perfect for our overnight stay.

Ideally, parking would be allocated per room. Our parking space was taken upon arrival so we had to park on the opposite side of the lot.

The room was pleasant and the staff were helpful

What we didn't like is we woken up in the night with a so called planned power outage, we both have to use cpap machines and so couldn't get back to sleep...we were not warned of this and so were not happy with the situation, and we were told because we booked online we could not get a refund or even part of a refund....not happy

Pool, grounds and rooms were clean and well maintained, cheap, perfect for our 1 night trip.

Bed was extremely hard.

Great location given tickets for the bowling club easy check in

Nothing all good

I liked the location as it was close to shops and bowling club and beach. The room was good size and had the beds we needed.Staff were very helpful.

The beds were a bit too firm.No cutlery and plates in room.

Next to bowling Club and a short walk in to town. Ample parking with a good TV, A/C and everything you need to make some breakfast.

Shower was terrible. Very poor water pressure.

Enjoyed our stay. Facilities were clean and tidy.

Shower water was only luke warm.

close to my daughters house. spacious room, good bathroom and comfy bed. great location

the air con did not work and it was very hot so that did not help. could not get hold of anyone to help. the bowling club was the only contact for issues but they could not help

We were given 2 complimentary drink vouchers for the bowls club next door which was really nice

TV did not work at all. Really wanted to watch a particular show and couldn’t and no one was in office after 5.00pm.

Easy check in, spacious room, air con and ceiling fan, right next door to the Forster Bowling Club that owns the motel so got free membership and a free beer for staying

Generally comfortable and welcoming

Bamboo cutlery and plastic crockery. Also there was a wet patch on the floor possibly from a water leak under the floor or from the bathrooom, adjacent to bathroom door

Easy to find and great location Vouchers for club next door were awesome

Location and amenities. It's value for money

Bed wasn't clean. I found strands of hair between the sheet and it was an unpleasant experience. Tried to contact reception but couldn't find anyone to report. Then the day got busy and eventually we checked out.

It was a great location, cheap and just what we needed.

There was no allocated parking, so getting in late we couldn’t park near our room.

I arrived after the office closed, in the dark. I had a message from Anne to say the keys were under the mat. I arrived, late and tired, and the lights were on, the fan was blowing, and the TV was going. I cannot tell you how comforting this was as a solo female traveller. It was so welcoming and really put me at ease. The room was exceptionally clean and the location is great. The bed was SO comfortable. Without a lie i have not slept that well in years. Just excellent.

Location, daily cleaning, cost, comfortable, large rooms

Very good location ,a good price for the 3 of us. It was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful .

Sadly, the little fridge freezer wasn't working too well and our icecream melted. A minor problem overall. A sink at the BBQ area would have been handy. But the friendly staff provided clean plates and cutlery for us and kept the BBQ equipment clean too. So again, only a minor inconvenience.

The convenient location, connection with the Forster Bowling Club, spacious comfortable room, private balcony looking out over the greens, and good value. Staff were friendly and helpful

With a few updates to the bathroom, the room would have been near perfect. Doesn't need a full refurbishment. If they make an update to the shower screen, toilet, and vanity taps...which are still functional, just tired looking.
