    Pros +

    • Comfortable room, clean, parking available.
    • This was totally above my expectations. The beautiful old style hotel room to the comfort of bed and pillows. The room was so extremely quiet and dark it was the best sleep I’ve had in years. Breakfast at the attached coffee shop was an exceptional bonus.
    • Well appointed room and great location

    Cons -

    • Three locked doors to get to the room, only one key issued. Lacked soul and a physical presence. Essentially just a place to sleep.
    • Nothing. Everything was perfect!
    • Needed a reading light - mood lighting is pretty but not if you need to work or read

We went all out and stayed in the King room no.1 (top floor).TV worked well, ducted aircon was perfect. We set it at 23deg.Bed was huge and very comfortable, bathroom spotless and spacious!Very large room, clean and tidy. The massive deck outside our room overlooks the park. Nice to sit and chill out with a beer.Hannah communicated exceptionally well and even gifted us with a late checkout (11am).The cafe next door / adjoining the hotel is highly recommended! We had an awesome breakfast, and coffee was spot on!

Can't fault. We are young and fit however a note to others that we stayed on 1st floor so there is only access via stairs. If you have any concerns request one of the rooms downstairs.

A tastefully restored red brick icon in the heart of Mudgee. Exceptional cleanliness in the spacious rooms that ooze country hospitality.

I was in Room number 2 Upstairs, It has access to a wrap around Balcony which i really liked , Great place to sit and have a glass of wine in the Evenings. This is the third time i have stayed at the Parkview , I keep going back so i guess that says it all.

There is nothing i don't like about the Parkview.

Great location and facilities, very clean and spacious.

    Could not fault.

    Possibility of staying there.

The fact we broke down in travelling to get there earlier in morning, rang the establishment to let them know we could not make it to check in. But because we booked through BOOKING .COM. NO REIMBURSEMENT OR REFUND. So won't be using this site again, will be booking direct through business instead.

Location, staff, verandah, room, historic building, cafe next door

Despite double glazing the traffic noise could be heard

    8StuartPosted on: 9-28-2025

The room was very spacious and well appointed. The balcony was huge. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect within walking distance of all the things we wanted to do.

The property is on a busy corner. There was very little noise in the room but during peak periods it was very noisy on the balcony.

Comfortable ,clean and friendly staff.Lovely cafe attached with great breakfast.

    10GaePosted on: 8-28-2025

The room was beautifully furnished. Also found the staff to be friendly and offered excellent Customer Service eg warming the room in advance of arrivalGreat having excellent breakfast venue/cafe on site too

Very minor suggestion would be to have a small microwave to match in with other available appliances in the room.

    9ChrisPosted on: 8-18-2025

Beautifiully restored trooms and spotlessly clean. Family owned and run business and the care that they put in shows. Very close to town and across the road from the visitor information centre. The balcony upstairs is very nice for a wine and cheese following a spin around the wineries.

Location is on the junction of two main roads so traffic can be a bit noisy at peak hours if you are in your room at that time. The noise in the room isn't intrusive though. We were on the ground floor so probably the noisier than upstairs.

    - great location, near everything (but felt tranquil, overlooking a park)- fantastic bath in the apartment upstairs- spacious kitchen area- historic building with character

Such a well located property. Large, comfortable rooms which include luxury styled toiletries. Staff were friendly and helpful. Easy parking…all was of a high standard.

    We loved the property

We were at the Mudgee Field Days, and this hotel was a great place to stay for that event.A very nice place, clean, lovely bathroom, comfy bed.

    9IlonaPosted on: 6-11-2025

Comfortable, quiet and beautiful room. Ducted heating was much appreciated, the bed was big and comfy. Lovely decor, good linens and towels. Location was an easy walk into town and can recommend the food at nearby Court House Hotel.
