Pros +
- has lot of character
- Beautiful architecture. Close to restaurants and bars. Close to Mudgee central CBD.
- Really great location to enjoy Mudgee, short walk to all the bars & food. The room is great size, modern and has everything you need.
Cons -
- was told it had foxtel but didnt seem to work
- Unfortunately the lift wasn’t working which was an inconvenience but not a huge issue.
- The property details on booking.com do not make clear that reception is closed at the weekends in the afternoon ie during normal checkin times. The fact that it calls itself a hotel, and that the highish price includes breakfast, leads you to expect something better than the pretty basic paperbag provided. Very steep stairs for luggage, when the lift is broken.

Perry Street Hotel completely exceeded our expectations. Absolutely beautiful fit out, fresh, luxurious, and very central to everything in Mudgee.
Room on the ground floor was right on the street corner so we had to keep the curtains closed the whole time. Definitely expected more for the price.
Lovely, comfortable room. Excellent bed and great bath. Lovely touch leaving complimentary snacks. Great location.
A lovely boutique hotel. Good location stayed two nights to go to a wedding . Lovely decor and a nice communal balcony where you can sit and enjoy a coffee from your coffee machine in your room.
We loved that it was a boutique room in a heritage building. The furnishings were beautiful. Location fabulous. Staff excellent.
Unfortunately the lift wasn’t working which was an inconvenience but not a huge issue.
Good parking, good kitchenette, stylish furnishing and fittings.

Quiet and very central location! And the verandah !! Walking distance to restaurants and cafes
Lovely comfortable room with kitchenette and some free snacks, in the quieter part of the hotel as requested. Check-in & out a breeze, great location too.
Translucent glass on our windows didn't seem necessary for privacy.
The hotel was central to town and easy to find, we traveled for a wedding and enjoyed the decor and architecture of the hotel. There was a small kitchenette that was handy to have for tea and coffee.
Central location. Nice rooms and cute deck to enjoy as well. Also had complimentary snacks
The bed was comfortable but maybe a bit too soft / dipping in places in the mattress
Clean GenerousBig roomLovely verandah
I was staying with my family in 3 rooms. The rooms were spacious with a sitting room area. There was a big common balcony where we could sit together and have a wine from our rooms. There was a generous basket of complimentary snacks.Large luxurious bathroom towels. I would definitely stay again.
Well designed room, super comfortable bed, lovely high ceilings. Staff could not have been more helpful.
Only thing that was problematic - window only opened a few cms, so no outlook. Curious decision in such s lovely rural setting.
We loved the warm greeting and the room configuration was very good
Parts of the bathroom are a little dated but still very functional
Location, staff and rooms
Hotel was lovely and staff friendly. Loved the upstairs communal verandah. Room was very comfortable and the Nespresso machine and complimentary snacks were a nice touch. Centrally located within walking distance of pubs/restaurants etc.
Nothing really. Everything met our expectations
Would only stay 1 night as no shelving or drawers to unpack clothes into.
Lack of shelves or drawers.Uncomfortable seating on verandah.Rooms not suitable as a studio as no table.
