I like the facilities.

Room service. One of the worst room services experience. The didn’t change any towel, clean the floor, didn’t pick up rubbish.

Really comfortable hotel, easy check in, bed was great. Pool is fantastic and restaurant food is exceptional.

Opulent rooms, but that was reflected in the price. Possibly the nicest country motel we have stayed in over the past five years. Whilst we didn't dine in the restaurant, it was busy and looked well maintained.

Only knock is the parking. Would have preferred undercover parking in the middle of summer. And the stairs might present an issue to older guests.

I've been to the Clairfield when it first opened which made me go back again, only this time I took my husband and another family member. It was just as beautiful as the first time. It's classy, boujee and elegant. I love the layout of the rooms, colour scheme throughout the hotel and the vibe of the pool/outdoor sitting area. We also used the gym and steam room this time too! We also went to the restaurant Gigi's for Christmas lunch which was superb! We all loved our stay and will definitely be back again!

There were a few hairs in the shower (not ours) which was a bit off putting but everything else was extremely clean. And it was clean the first time I came too.

I loved the palm spring inspired pool setting, the amazing restaurant, the gym, the steam room, and the option for attending the wellness centre. Everything was beautifully styled, clean and luxury comfort. The best cocktails that I have ever tasted!

Pretty much everything. Don’t judge a book by its cover, springs to mind. As we drove in, I saw a motel and thought I had booked the wrong place. However, when we checked in, I realised there was so much more to the Clairfield. The reception area is stylish and welcoming. The staff were a delight to meet, in reception, in the bar and also in the restaurant. Gigi’s is a special place serving unusual food combinations to a high standard. Breakfast and dinner were amazing each day. I could live on the radicchio, mandarin and walnut salad with pomegranate and molasses dressing! Yum! The pool area, with showers, and poolside service was a lovely place to relax during happy hour in the afternoon. There is a gym and steam room for residents to enjoy and I believe there is a wellness centre, though I didn’t use this facility. The rooms are spacious and very stylish. Fresh fruit, tea, coffee water and fresh milk are provided. The toiletries were lovely. Car parking is directly outside your room if you are on the ground floor. I love the use of wood and olive colour schemes throughout the complex. Very calming. The whole resort was just very enjoyable. Definitely a touch of luxury. The location is just on the outskirts of town. An easy 15 minute walk into the centre.

The air conditioner in the main restaurant, bar and reception area was so cold we did not utilize those facilities

Abit far to walk from town centre

Great comfortable accommodation. The gym was perfect to use also everything you need. Room was neat and comfortable.

The pool is a bit small and crowded considering the number of guests. The on site restaurant food was poor quality and overpriced.

From just walking in, the reception area feels luxurious and calming. That pink ombre stone reception desk is to die for! The staff were absolutely lovely - 5 star just for the staff! They politely answered all my questions about the area and provided some really great suggestions on how to beat the heat when it was too hot to enjoy the outdoors.We made use of the pool every day with happy hour from 3-5pm. Having towels, sunscreen and shaded loungers available was nice.The airconditioning in our room worked well during the 40+ degree heat. We had breakfast at Gigi's and the coffee was AMAZING.

The pillows were a little flat and lumpy. The light from the aircon unit was a beacon in the otherwise dark room. Our mini fridge didn't get very cold, despite being at maximum setting. We weren't able to stream our phones to the TV to use our personal subscriptions (only Netflix was working on our TV).

Modern, clean and staff were efficient and friendly. The dining was very good.

Not much room for the cars to manoeuvre, care was required.Location was not convenient to walk to the town retail area.

Nice modern hotel for a relaxing stay. The complimentary short bread biscuits in the room were delicious! Service was good too.

Bathroom could have been cleaner. The side of the basin was dirty - probably just an oversight.

Room was very pretty

The room smelt like sewage when we first arrived. Must’ve been the old pipes — wasn’t the greatest welcome. Rubbery overpriced ribs and bland food at Gigis was a huge let down too.

Steam room and pool were nice

Our room wasn’t clean and we were expecting more given the price. The restaurant was closed so we also couldn’t enjoy food or the outdoor drinks.

The Clairfield has to be the best place to stay in Mudgee, with friendly welcoming staff, very comfortable rooms, excellent bar and restaurant with delicious food options.Would definitely stay here again, thank you.Highly recommended.
