Tuki Tuki Motel

The place blew us away .... it was lovely. We had unit 5 which was on the ground floor with parking at the door, and it was huge. Fully equipped kitchen and accommodation, including a patio at the back. Immaculate and spacious and we loved it. Quite unexpected for a small town. LOVED IT !!There are a couple of supermarkets, gas stations and an excellent Indian restaurant all nearby too.

This booking did not include breakfast. The room was as expected, not new, but suited a one night stay.

The room seemed a bit aged but it was sufficient for our travel purpose and for one night.

Very spacious clean rooms, central location, wonderful hosts, highly recommend to stay, we will be back, thank you.

Liked having table and chairs outside the unit.

The bed was pretty basic and minimal facilities for cooking. It really is a pretty dated place in need of modernisation. The traffic noise was also very noticeable.Not very good value for money compared to many other places we’ve stayed at for similar cost.

Reception staff very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Felt very well looked after by personnel.

Owner was wonderful and let us check in earlier than intended :-) This was helpful as travelling with 4 teenagers we needed the space, so we could head to Splash Planet with plenty of room. We also loved the family sized rooms and felt we had more than enough space. Can’t wait to visit again soon :-)

An older aged motel but so very very clean - immaculate. So close to shops and cafes. Staff were lovely and friendly.

Central location and easy to find. Very close to shops and restaurants. Lots of helpful information in the unit about the Hawkes Bay area. Loved the clean shower curtain each day. Lots of fluffy dry towels to use.

Car parking can be a bit tricky we had to back into the driveway to go forward into the car park as two large vehicles were parked in their allocated car parks and made the entrance space too small when we were driving a SUV also.

Parking outside unit was great.
