All rooms provide heating. Te Mata Views Resort is in close proximity to Hawke's Bay's many wineries. Hastings town center is 5 minutes’ drive and Te Mata Peak is 15 minutes’ drive away.

Pros +
- Lovely private garden.Beautifully decorated rooms, kitchen and lounge areas.Plenty of places to retreat to with a bottle of local wine after a whole day's sightseeing, including one by the river. Welcoming and helpful host. Easy drive to supermarket.
Cons -
- The stone path right before the rooms sounds a little bit harsh when luggage is moved. Other than that it is a perfect place to stay for couples.
