- Beautiful historical setting ably and enthusiastically curated by James the Manager. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.
- Beautiful grounds. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent. The service was next level.
Cons -
- outdoor furniture need a stain and new embralla covers
- Bathroom - shower over bath not ideal and problematic sink - both not ideal at this level of property. Some facilities (e.g. spa pool) limited availability at weekends it seemed - don't know why.
- Being very picky…. The small shower head didn’t live up to the standards set across the hotel.

Loved the breakfast. Plenty to choose from and everything fresh and delicious
Wonderful property, full of history, great grounds, immaculate room, marvellous 5 course dinner and wines. So happy I stayed here!

The homestead feel and the grounds were fantastic, the trees were beautiful… and our host Hitomi was exceptional, always looking to understand and accomodate our needs. The staff were wonderful. The degustation diner is outstanding, in fact all of the food was fantastic.
The coffee! The spa / gym area needs some work.
Itomi was the most incredible host. The 3 course set menu paired with wines was genuinely a 5 star experience. The property grounds are beautiful and room quite comfortable. The team were very accommodating for an early check out (I had a flight to catch) and even prepared a breakfast box and takeaway coffee for the journey.
The property is beautifully maintained, and you get to wake up surrounded by gorgeous greenery and to the sounds of nature (the cutest, little lambs). Although the property is situated on a stretch of busy streets, you barely hear any traffic noises. Perfect for switching off and relaxing. Opting for the Lady Watties suite, we had the luxury of our own private spa bath. Our stay got me hooked onto their delicious coffee, and had me purchasing the same coffee beans for home. As a happy coincidence, I also found my favorite cider on my visit. We dined at the restaurant and opted for a 3-course meal. They were very accommodating of our dietary needs, and the food was lovingly prepared and tasted exceptional. The breakfast was some of the best food I've ever tasted. Everything was freshly made, and tasted divine. The attention to detail on each element of every dish was phenomenal. It was a wonderful experience, one I will not forget soon.
Staff were excellent and very helpful. Sauna was a nice touch.Location was beautiful and close to shops/restaurants.
Bed were a bit soft for my liking.
Lovely setting. Very welcoming attentive staff. Amazing food
All meals and service were first class. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff to assist us.Nothing to criticise
Nothing to criticise. Our visit was business related
Beautiful interior, large suites, a great Easter Dinner, a very nice garden with beautiful roses around the hotel. The Personal is very helpful, the concierge organised e-bikes for us and we had a wonderful ride through vineyards and along the coastline.
Sauna & Whirlpool area is a little old-fashioned.
Quiet location in a rural setting . Large comfortable room, breakfast very satisfying
No ev plugs
