Le Chalet Suisse Motel Taupo

Location is lakeside, nice view from balcony. Lovely warm welcome. Good kitchen facilities. Within walking distance of lake, many restaurants.

Front door felt a little flimsy

Pool was good and room was warm it was nice

Spa did not work did not get told that it did not work walls wore abit dirty wardrobe up stairs had dust siting on top of it I mean it was good but could of established that spa bath did not work don’t start in room 7

Large rooms with views and great location.

Spiderwebs everywhere and lots of spiders in the rooms, fly spray provided. Lack of sound proof walls but this is mentioned in the notices to be aware of and be considerate.

Apartment was fine so we're the views

The noise of cars which is to be expected being so near the road won't stay in town again.

Great location and lots of space, clean.

No Aircon upstairs, there was a large fan,not the same result.

I loved the service, pool and location

We liked the location as we could walk to town centre and we appreciated the manager being available on site, very helpful. Good facilities. Bathroom plenty of room and shower great.

A minor matter we noticed was a very few paint details which needed updating.

Clean and convenient Would stay again

A lot of traffic noise

Love the location, rooms are always clean and fresh. Beds are so comfortable, staff are great, and we only stay at La Chalet Suisse when we come to Taupo from Australia.

Location great, staff friendly, big space, beautiful view and multiple amenities

Old building, noise from walls, not fully equipped throughout

The location is very handy to town. Great view of the lake and mountains.

Rooms were dated and in need of so maintenance. Walls were very thin so you could hear people talk in next units. Power to spa baths were turned off (possibly due to noise) so you pay for use of a spa bath but without power it's just a bath. Advertising should be updated to reflect this.

Good location, comfortable room, great for an overnight stay.

Location and room.

Pool and spa need work

Location to the town centre

The facilities were old and tired. It was not a 4 star facility as it was advertised more of a 3 star.

Ground floor spot was nice access to room. Walkable to town

No TV in bedroom!

Good location, near resturants, shops and the lake. Nice clean rooms.

Was very surprised that our room had a beautiful view of Lake and devine sunsets. The room was lovely and clean.Very close to town and attractions.

Parking was abit tight. And the steps up to the second balcony were getting shaky, old and tired.

Ok location

Very smelly. Poor value for money

Location; Bathroom; Clean.

Poor WiFi; No response to messages; Top floor on previous visit was better than ground floor this time.

Super comfortable bed, veiw to the lake, separate lounge and bedroom, free parking and awesome location.
