The Cove- On The Lake

The bed was very comfortable, the lounge was spacious and the thermal spa was extremely relaxing. The room was well appointed with modern styling and decor. The view of the lake and the proximity to the lake was excellent.

Amazing! Can not fault it. Staff are exceptional, especially cleaning team. We were very well looked after. Great location, perfect for sunset views. Right on the lake. Was a fantastic stay.

Closeness to Huka jet,and other attractions, shopping and excellent cafes and restaurants.

Need Decent lounge seating with comfort.And hard to get into shower over bath,definitely needs a safety handle for getting in and out,and a non slip bathmat in bottom of bath when showering.

Really friendly and helpful staff! Shame the cafe closed until Wednesdays, and nowhere to cook any food but all in all a good place to stay when in Taupo!

The room had not been vacuumed!! There were lumps of hair all on the carpet. Public and head hair all over the bathroom floor.

This is a nice hotel that is just a short walk down to the beach and the trail. The staff are very friendly and the bed is comfortable. We recommend this place and we've booked this place for when were going through the area again.

They do mention it in their ad. The rooms are small and not much room. That's why we rated the comfort as 4 out of 5. The bed and the room are comfortable otherwise. With 2 carry on suitcases we were pretty well at capacity.

It wasn't a walking distance from the city centre but it was located by the lake and near the walkway which took us nice nearby restaurant and cafes on hoot that's very nice and convenient.The receptionist was very helpful to arrange late check in by giving us clear instructions.

Fantastic location to the town centre. Clean tidy rooms with in room facilities.

We were just not aware of the tiny trout flies that filled the living room ceiling and walls after sunset as the doors were slightly open. We had no choice but to turn all the lights off in the living room and move to the bedroom for the rest of the evening as they are attracted to light.

The staff were nice.

We thought the Motel was lakeside when we booked however it wasn’t. We thought our studio unit would be bigger when we booked however it was very small.

Great spot on the lake, restaurant that's attached to the hotel is also great.

Hard to find staff if you need to talk to someone.

Room bit small and no spa pool like our friends all had in their rooms abd we all.paid same amount for the 1 night.

A friendly welcome with a very comfortable room, the balcony has great views of the lake and we enjoyed the attached spa. The breakfast from the attached cafe were worth a positive mention too.

A luggage lift would have been useful

The location, lovely views from the balcony, comfortable room with everything I needed except perhaps a hot plate.

No wardrobe, but this was a minor inconvenience.
