Sacred Waters Taupo

Location--Lake Taupo was beautiful. The thermal pool was also nice.

Sprung a $-- per child, per night fee after we had already stayed the first night. The manager met us when we moved in, and saw we had three kids (and we booked a family apartment), but did not disclose the fee until it was too late to book elsewhere.

Good location, fine for a night, felt like staying in a college dorm with furniture from IKEA. Pillows were not very comfortable. Pool was nice. So was the check-in person. She was super friendly.

Felt pretty lived in and beat up—like a college dorm room.

The apartment was large and extremely well-equipped. The facilities were superb - a highlight was the heated lap pool. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Good location with access to the lake. Views across lake. Thermal bath on deck looks amazing, however weather was too wild and windy to be able to use. Perhaps next time. Host was amazing. Great amenities

Lounge set up was facing TV not the view, needs another separate lounge chair to make it comfortable to enjoy read a book and soak in the view

perfect spot for a family stay room to spread out and fully equipped kitchen for our needs -great private courtyard with hot bath and access to large heated communal pool -nice !

our room was perfect warm inviting everything we needed. it was quite. The heated pool was so relaxing. during our stay there were no kids so perfect. there was an elevator we could use with a bag luggage trolley this was idea for my husband and I.

We stayed in a 3-bedroom lakefront apartment at Sacred Waters Taupō, and it was absolutely stunning! Our family of six, including our 3-year-old, had the most incredible time. The apartment had everything we needed — beautifully furnished, spacious, and so well-equipped. Having our very own hot tub was such a luxury, and the large open yard was fully fenced and gated, which meant our little one could safely run around and play while we relaxed. The heated pool was another huge bonus, especially on the cooler days. Check-in and check-out were super easy, making the whole experience stress-free. Plus, the location is fantastic — close to great restaurants and activities, yet still peaceful and relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We will definitely be back!

The heated pool was a bonus! Loved the hot tub on the balcony, the view, the location!

Under the beds could do with a vacuum/clean and the windows/window frames needed a clean too…for that price point, I feel it needs to be pretty sharp.

We managed to lock ourselves out since there is a code for the door but after hours it is a key downstairs to the garage and there was no way to get back in and nobody to call. Luckily a fellow guest let us in. When we left the lady on reception just said goodbye, didn’t ask if we enjoyed our stay so I never mentioned the key. It was our fault but surely there is some contact number for after hours.

Hot tub was very nice, quick to fill, very soothing. Clean apartment with all you need. Friendly staff. Perfect for a family of four.

Parking underneath involved multiple point turn to get car into the space.

I could easily live here. It was beautiful. Exceptional quality to the finish in apartments. Hot tub on the balcony was thermally heated and was a real plus for watching the sunset. The kitchen was a joy to cook in. The TV was huge and we had a great time watching stuff together. A great place to relax and explore Taupo.

The AC was hard to fathom but that might just be me and we got it working in the end.

Beautiful views. Great location. Very modern and spacious. Secure garage parking. Comfortable and clean. Good wifi. Thermal spa on the balcony was great fun. Lovely property. Would stay again.

Sadly there was a horrible, extremely angry resident who proceeded to rant at us for parking outside whilst we received information as to where to park our cars. Maybe he should have purchased a property elsewhere where there weren't holiday guests checking in. The lovely lady on reception knew exactly who he was!!!. Totally unnecessary reaction, shouting at us. Lucky for him my husband and son in law are not reactive people. One day he might not confront such nice people. For information he drives a white SUV and parks in Bay C.

Very beautiful location, peaceful environment and not far from the city centre.

Comes with water views, property was sapcious, conveniently located. Super nice receptionist.

Water leaks from shower screen gaps, and the beds are a bit too soft.

Location, beds , close to town but quiet .

Beds were comfortable and air conditioning worked well. Kitchen facilities were good.

The hook on the back of the bathroom door was broken. The toilet seat was loose. The glasses were dirty as well as the pan lids. The pool steps were green and dirty. The pool full of dead flies. I would have brought this to the attic the Reception staff but there was no one on the desk.
