Excellent Accommodation !! Spotlessly Clean. Decor was painstakingly put together. The balcony had a spectacular view of Lake Taupo. Cut above the rest.

LOVED the private mineral spa tub outside on the patio

This hotel was so unexpectedly comfortable. The spacious yet cozy room gave us the space we needed for a few days. The bed cradled us like a cloud. That geothermal tub eased all of our aches and pains. The location, just outside the city center and with an unobstructed view of the lake, meant we were close enough without feeling overwhelmed.

We liked everything.

Location and lakefront views

The room itself was comfortable but felt a little dated, and I had a big problem with mosquitoes: at night there were many around the entrance near the lights, and quite a few ended up inside my room, which made it hard to relax.

Great location. Lovely outdoor pool with a really nice cabana room. Our room had an inground thermal pool which was really nice. We appreciated the landscaping around the pool and the outdoor seating. Room was large and spotlessly clean.

Great thermal pool on site. Also bonus game and recreation room. Incredible location right across the road from Lake Taupo. Balcony view with upstairs room looking across lake. Good kitchen facilities.

The location

* There wasn’t a thermal tub in the room on the second floor, so you need to be careful when choosing this lodge.* The parking space was a bit small, but manageable.

Comfy large bed, clean and plenty of room and a great view of the lake.

Location, focus on sustainability, thermal pool, attentive staff.

Room was a great size with a good sized bed, small lounge and table and large bathroom. Had an outside heated pool. Plenty of onsite parking. good sized balcony with water views.

Nothing to not like, had everything you needed.Only thing was Pool was chlorinated but not an issue .

The hot tub pipe was blocked. Reception said it would drain slowly, but after waiting overnight it didn’t drain, so the kids couldn’t use it. Owner brought the plumber in the next day. When we came back, there was no water so we thought it was fixed and used it but it wasn't drain at all after using it. It’s not the luxury apartment as advertised. There were also no laundry facilities, which we weren’t told about — the laundry room is still under renovation, so washing the kids’ sandy clothes was difficult.

Loved the heated pool. Enjoyed it each morning. The bed was roomy and very comfortable. The proximity to the lake was excellent and easy to navigate. Beautiful views across the road to the lake.

The kitchen bench was tight when self catering and the crockery and cutlery were a bare minimum. Only one large glass chopping board to use.

Beautiful view, clean and spacious, felt like you had an apartment space, large bathroom, a room of darts and games was a lot of fun and nice touch. The thermal pool was so cozy and the milk in the fridge was amazing. Would love to come back here!!!

The hated thermal pool is amazing for a late afternoon dip the rooms are very spacious and include a small kitchenette. We also had a spa bath in our room which was an added bonus. The views from the lodge are incredible on a sunny day as you can see all the way to the snowy mountains in winter. The large bed was super comfortable.

Only really minor things like non-replenishment of milk each day but this is really nitpicking as it was beyond our expectations

Very nice room, clean and well outfitted. We loved the heated pool!

Very comfortable and spacious room with a gorgeous view of the lake. Kitchen was well stocked and the heating worked well on those colder nights.

Slightly further away from town than I was expecting but a quick drive if you have a car. Lovely spot to go for a walk from regardless.
