Available and convenient. Quiet.

Parking is a bit tight.

Lovely lakeside views and able to walk into Taupo centre. Very welcoming and knowledgeable owner who helped us make the most of our stay.

Spa bath dated but good modern shower.

The lake view was nice.

The exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working. Customer service could have been more friendly. It was a bit too pricey for the quality of facilities that we got.

Lovely motel on the front at the end of Taupo. Anthony was amazing with a load of information about the area.

Parking is tight. Apartment was a little tied.

A family of 5 might benefit from 2 toilets.

Great location. Overall well appointed, comfy beds and large barhroom.

Unit could have been vacuumed better and dead spider in rhe bath.

Comfy bed. Good shower with all the extras to use in it.

We had to ask for towels 3 mornings they never serviced our room. They never emptied our bins.

Hottube was amazing apart from the spider that came out of the filter and i spent 10minz trying to catch it,

Couple ants came from the jug..

Anthony is a fabulous host he escorts you to your room and explains how the facilities work.He genuinely wants to ensure you enjoy your stay.Ive stayed here many times and this is my preferred accomodation when visiting Taupo

Friendly welcome, clean and tidy. Nice spacious room. Good location - 20 minute walk in to town.

Rooms and fit out are a bit dated, but everything is clean and it works.

Clean , well equipped , very friendly staff

Room was really nice and well kept, smart tv, kitchenette etc. in keeper Anthony was an incredible nice man aswell!

Some of the amenities weren’t filled which was just a minor inconvenience.

Location is amazing and close to everything

The wifi often did not work the whole weekend we were there. Had to constantly sign in and out of it. Maybe half the time we were there we had to use our data

Proximity to lake and cbd

Bed was to hard and uncomfortable

The Manager was very helpful; and tried her best to overcome some of our in initial problems and make us comfortable. the room was a good size and the bed was comfortable

We were initially given a room that had not been cleaned which was disappointing. However, when we complained the Manager gave us another room which was fine. The access to the road is quite difficult and one has to be very careful exiting the property.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the colonial lodge motel. Accommodation and facilities were all comfortable and clean, love the location and really good value for money. We would stay there again
