Clean, well maintained and in a remote location closeTo waitomo caves.

Very pushy people. Between 9-10 am they knocked on our door like 3 times asking us to leave at 10. WE KNOW CHECKOUT IS AT 10!!!

Too far from Waitomo Caves than I thought.

We first stayed at this lodge about 15 years ago and the fresh, modern design has held up really well. So much nicer than many dated motels. Very comfortable beds and good facilities. Excellent value for money. Very friendly staff. Would happily stay again. We enjoyed some lovely takeaway pizza from Pizza Zone - nice to support local business!

The parks are a little tight with everyone driving bigger cars these days (maybe I am just getting old). It was hard to back in or out because the opposite parks were so close and with the parks being allocated there was no option to park in a different one, even though most were empty. I ended up parking on the main road, which I think resulted in a mix-up with the staff thinking we had left already before check-out time and knocking on our door to clean the room. Not a big deal, but I was a bit worried about the car overnight.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Car parking in front of the rooms, so convenient. Quiet location and a 20 minute drive to the Waitomo Caves. 5 minute drive to Te Kuiti town centre.

It would have been nice to have a kitchen sink in the kicthenette - but this was not s show stopper.

The hot water wasn’t available for 3 days and staff wasn’t able to answer when it would get fixed

We requested a late check in time and the host arranged everything and emailed us the details. No dramas or problems when we showed up way late.

Great property in a really nice community. Facilities were great, clean rooms, comfortable environment, and great location to all the area attractions. Staff had clear communication throughout the process. Area has all the essential stores and across from a nice park. Would stay again for sure.

Breakfast was not included. The motel was easy to find.

We had to park the car some distance from the room which was inconvenient. There was no sink provided other than the bathroom basin.

Motel was nice and clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. The facilities were satisfactory for our needs and location was good for a visit to Waitomo Cave area.

Unit was a little dated and in need of some maintenance as vinyl coating on shower walls bulging.Transport noise from highway was audible.

Nearby the Waitomo Cave and two spacious bedrooms for our family. Everything we needed! Check out the cafe across the street for breakfast

Everything was perfect and there was so much space in the rooms, and they were comfortable and warm

It would be great if there were a mop in the bathroom. not a big deal.

clean comfy Motel, was a great pit stop for our golf trip.

The size of the accommodation was good. It was clean and warm with the air pump. Another TV in the separate room was a welcome surprise. It contained all the necessary kitchen utensils, pots, microwave, fridge etc. The bathroom held nice extras helpful for travellers, there were a good number of towels, the shower worked well. The bed linen was clean, and the double bed was a good size for 2 adults. The outside seating was appreciated. We arrived late, and appreciated the message from staff about the time the office would be closed. Thankfully we got there ahead of time, and was received efficiently. Our group was tired from travelling all day, and we appreciated the efficiency of staff.

There was only 1 thing that could have been better. The room with the 2 single beds were not big enough for 2 adult men; 1 was an elderly man aged 90 and the other was a 65yo with a heart and respiratory condition. A king single would have been more comfortable and a better restful night after a long day. I recommend you consider this when receiving bookings from 4 adults. In saying all of this, I should have communicated our needs more clearly, and possibly these changes to the room would have been considered. I would like to hear their feedback about this. Flexibility and wanting to give customers a good experience is what I expect.

Room was really nice. We had a River view balcony room. Sky Tv allowed us to watch rugby semifinal. Comfy beds.

A little far from downtown cafes. We ended up driving. Exterior could use some sprucing. Shower water got everywhere.

The size of the room is quite roomy with Netflix.

Train passed by at mid night. The sound was loud which woke me up. Spider webs were found inside the room.
