Pool was fantastic bonus, good location, is was everything it said it was, good for the kids

The price was good relative to the room provided. Kids enjoyed the pool and the room amenities were good.

Wifi was patchy and the carpet, although clean, could do with a refresh. Also had a shared balcony with our neighbour which meant that our children didn't want to go on the balcony when the neighbours were out there. Recommend a barrier is placed between the 2 rooms.

Room is older but very clean. Beds are very comfortable and the shower pressure is great!

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Though on a major street, the room was quiet, nice! Parking was close. The staff was helpful and available, which was appreciated, And a nearby bakery had the world's best pies!!!

Nothing, the stay was pleasant and all met my expectations.

Beautiful place. Everything was of high standard. The beds were.amazing. Absolute 100% recommend. Location was good. Amenities super close. The fish n chip.place across the road is great and cheap too. Easy to find. Easy to get back onto the freeway home. Brilliant place. Will definitely return.

Location wasn’t walking distance to much that’s exciting. Nice newly renovated place though and a good deal.

Spacious unit which had all the amenities you would expect to find. Relatively handy location. Friendly, responsive staff. Kids enjoyed the pool briefly.

Reflecting much of the feedback over previous months (perhaps 'improvements' are not actually being made as suggested?). 1. Servicing of our unit was inconsistent (e.g. the first servicing our beds weren't made, but were the next, some amenities not replaced etc). 2. The carpet in our unit had a lot of dog hair - suggest investing in a dedicated animal vacuum if you wish to continue as 'pet friendly' accommodation - not everyone wants to experience the remants of previous tenants. 3. The bathroom ceiling was one of the most disgusting I've ever encountered in all my travels around the world (refer photos). Old and fresh mould was visible to the naked eye across the entire ceiling and down the walls which has been there for a long time. Please don't let out this room until the ceiling is adequately addressed - it is a health hazard and puts guests (especially immunocompromised, young and old) at risk of serious illness. It's really not hard or expensive to re-jib, paint and install an extractor fan.4. Similarly, there has been/is a leak in the kitchen ceiling which is also developing mould (refer photo). The ceilings are also potentially asbestos which comes with it's own serious health issues when compromised.5. Dodgy/loose window fittings - as per other feedback, this doesn't seem to be something the owners actually intend to address.6. The spa pool evidently still doesn't work apart from being a luke-warm bath.7. Expensive price point for the current quality of accommodation compared to the rest of NZ.

The room was functional. The air con was appreciated. There's a pool for warmer days. Across the road from a dairy and BP station The staff i checked in with were happy and polite

The noise from the main road and other motel users.The outside light is kept on all night from both sides of the room.The rubbish bags were replaced but the kitchen amenities weren't IE coffee, sugar and milk.

Very hard to sleep as the room we had only had light blinds and the properties lights shine right into the room. There also seem to be some people staying with a dog. We were woken by dogs fighting at 1am.

The room was a nice corner unit with a view, very clean and comfortable.

Room was clean, great to have a separate kitchen, reasonable shower pressure and comfortable beds. Motel staff were friendly. Good off street parking in front of room. Rooms are older but were well kept. Good Price.

Great space. Large kitchen, living room, bedroom and the bathroom was luxurious!

Beds and Linen were very comfortable and wonderful quality. Room was spacious and well equipped with all we needed for two day stay.

We were unable to use the pool during our stay as it wasn't heated. There are stairs to some of the rooms. we didn't ask for ground floor room. I am sure they would of accomidated us if we had of asked for this

Stayed in studio room, 1 adult and 2 kids. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bed comfortable and had everything we needed in kitchen.

The cleaner left our front door not latched properly on the second day, then arriving home on our 3 day to find the sliding door wide open, we were on the bottom floor with all our stuff open to a main road, luckily nothing was gone, there was also no fire alarm in our room

The Location and beds and staff

Terrible white light in the bedroom and run down/old bathroom - falling in part certain parts in the shower and non working water kettle.

Room layout was ok, had a separate dining and kitchen area

- The reception gave our parking to another guest, and we had only a tiny spot to park- Parking is an issue on site, very small parking spaces and difficult to maneuver.- The entire facility is very dated, the toilet and shower are especially old.- carpet seemed very dirty in our room- Sliding door latches are broken, and difficult to slide- single glazing makes the room quite cold.- no ventilation fan in the toilet, I am not sure if this is even compliant
