18th Avenue Thermal Motel

Cost was fair and location good. Plenty of parking.

I stayed in room 1. The door gets stuck, but you can pull it hard and it opens and closes. No Iron or ironing board for ironing shirt etc - that would be good to have for people staying overnight for work. Room was really cold, though I discovered a heater the next morning. The property was quite dated notably the doors and shower.

Plenty of room for all ages, private and tidy

Thr price, location and the space. Slightly early checking and late checkout extra cost was very reasonable. Staff were awesome. We don't usually find a room with alot of space and also a kitchen with an oven- so loved that. Used the BBQ space and it was also very useful. Geothermal pool was also lovely to use. We will be back! ?

The room smelt heavily of bleach when we got in but went away once let some air in.

The beds were really comfortable

Needed a bit more attention to cleanliness and slight more generosity with tea coffee etc.

Was close to my mahi, great location, Friendly staff, I checked in late but all was set up for me key in lock box was very easy.

Comfortable bed. Place extremely clean and had all the facilities needed. Very quiet.

This is an older motel but some upgrades happening. No heat pumps but adequate fan provided.

Short distance from Tauranga Hospital and away from traffic

It was clean and a good place to stay. Staff kept the keys for us, and we were late, but it was still fine to move in and easy.

The shower wasn't too good. It pretty old and slow. It was hard to take a good shower.

Great location and super close to my family so I could walk to the house ?

Just the shower that made too much noise when adjusting to get the right temperature

Rooms were clean but outdated. Thermal pool was nice. Quite noisy at night.

The quiet peaceful surroundings. Very comfy bed.

The hot water was different temperatures on the taps.

The rooms need a little updating but then I guess it is priced accordingly. The power went off twice in the evening, fuse problem. It was only my room the rest of the motels were ok. The owner was very helpful, hopefuly they have sorted out the problem

The location is excellent to room was very clean, reasonably new firm bed. Had a great night’s sleep. Check in and check out was easy

Could do with a make over and new bathroom facilities, but was good and clean. I felt the price was higher for the overall quality.

The natural spring pool was a highlight, and the tramp/ playground was great for my son after a long day in the car.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clean comfortable room, little play area for the kids & relaxing thermal pool with friendly staff ? such a good price aswell! Thank you

Location was good

To hot badly needs air conditioner. Badly needs an update very worn. Toilet doors needs to change to make easier access.

The motel should be taken off Booking.coms suite of accommodation. Nothing is up to standard, and maintenance is absent. You should inspect what you are listing. The motel is priced at the upper end of the market but the experience is bottom end.

I was having an early operation at Tauranga Hospital the following morning and the motel was ideally located given we live out of town. In every respect it met our needs for a very reasonable cost.
