Mallacoota's Shady Gully Caravan Park

Clean and quiet

Too small, no room to move.

We booked a cabin at the Caravan park and were upgraded to Gunya 1 which was very nice accommodation. We were concerned that the accommodation would be noisy because it was school holiday time, but it was reasonably quiet. The gunya was spacious and we were able to move around easily. The manager was friendly, and the location was convenient.

The kitchen was sparsely equipped. One can't do much elaborate cooking.

Loved the park, the fact it was a little out of town was actually perfect excuse for a walk.The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The cabin needed to be a bit more stocked. We didn’t have anything to flip eggs, no oven tray and no foil to re-do the grill. The curtains are broken in the main room/missing a few so would be fantastic to see these fixed.

Clean and tidy. Friendly hosts helping with coins for washing machine and pegs for clothes. Also giving kids bird seed to put out for birds and other animals.

A little small with bed being in the main area. In hindsight should have booked bigger cabins. Luggage had to be stored under beds to create space to move around.

Cabin was clean, comfy and in a very quiet location. Ground were clean and the owner Chris was very helpful upon our arrival. Would highly recommend.

Really clean and spacious. Owners found items we left behind and posted them. We thought this was “over and above”! Thankyou. We were also able to get all our washing done.

The bed mattress was very soft.

Lovey cabin in a perfect spot, just outside town meant that it was quiet and peaceful. The bird life around the park was fabulous.

The park was quiet and surrounded by forest.

The drinking water was terrible. The cabin had bunk beds beside the sink and bathroom.

Great communication with Kris. Upgraded Cabin at no cost much appreciated, as was the advice on local dining and groceries. Lovely, shady, quite park just off main road into town, about 2 kms out, so no bustle.

Quiet rural setting. Large clean cabin with lovely shaded verandah.

If there's one thing I regret, it's not staying longer at Mallacoota's Shady Gully! The accommodation was very pleasant, clean and the host very welcoming. The area around Mallacoota is also very beautiful, with lovely beaches and forest walks. I'd definitely recommend it!

Bed was comfy. Shower was great.Good supply of kitchenware

Cramped for space. CABIN was a double bed and seperate twin bunks. Bathroom sink adjacent to twin bunks.Little way out of town , needed to drive in for supplies

Kris was so welcoming and kind, even helped us with our late check in. Really beautiful people and a beautiful place to stay, just wish I’d booked here for longer!

We travelled with two Adults so the Gunya 1 was very spacious for us. We loved the space, the exceptional and unusual architecture, the owners were so friendly. It was a bugger that we only stayed for two nights. Mallacoota itsself is lovely, the people stick together and everyone has their story to tell which was pretty interesting for us.

Cloth pegs would have been nice :D I cant really say that I missed anything.

Although a little small, the bed was comfortable. I am 6 foot so this may not apply to many people.

Internal sliding doors did not slide well. Easy fix, not done.

Loved this cabin! Was comfy, clean, and very relaxing.

The cabin was very clean, modern and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
