Pros +
- The staff were very lovely and the restaurant was wonderful. It was also nice to wander over to the foreshore from the villas which took only about a minute.
- Beautiful surroundings and the mobile homes are set up nicely. Comfortable, clean and spacious.
- Great location
Cons -
- I’ve never had to take the trash from the inside trash bins and empty them out into the hotels skip bins 400m away to avoid incurring an extra cleaning fee. It wasn’t difficult but an odd thing to have to do especially for a place such as this. Some deep cleaning hadn’t been done for a while - the exhaust fan above the shower was coated in a thick layer of dust, the ceiling fans were dropping dust from the tops of the blades which were also coated, the couch cushions had some type of muck on them, the area around the BBQ was very greasy on the ground and it was very dusty but being on the foreshore I understand it’s a constant battle to keep the dust out.
- The beach is beautiful only not sure how it is to swim there.
- Our first morning there we were woken early by someone in the room above that was very heavy footed.

Great location
Our first morning there we were woken early by someone in the room above that was very heavy footed.
Loved that it was right on the beach, beautiful Al fresco area to sit, eat, drink while watching the ocean. Gorgeous homestead and so wonderfully restored
Everything was wonderful, we stayed in a loft room, and the only issue was I kept hitting my head on the slant of the roof! But that was my fault not the Inn’s!
Modern, clean, attractive, comfortable. Location close to Twofold Bay was great and the gardens and grounds are very attractive.
The resort is in a beautiful location but isolated. There is only one choice for eating out so I think it is strange that the facilities in the villa were so limited. No oven or air frier and very limited microwaveable containers. It was a booking for six adults but there was only five mugs and no cups. Limited cutlery. When we requested additional dishes for the microwave it took several phone calls and a visit to reception for them to arrive. We asked if we could have access to a washing machine as there was not one in the villa and we were directed to a nearby camping area. Clothes washing detergent was promised but it never arrived. When five of us had dinner in the resort’s restaurant we were charged for eleven desserts. Apparently ours and the next door table who had already left. The amount was refunded but it was left up to us to discover the discrepancy.
Close proximity to the beachFriendly staff Clean Villas
Cleanliness, bonfire pit, close to beach’s unfortunately had heavy rainfalls and flooding during the time.Beds were great and presentation, kitchen equipment were good.
The design in the vanity sink, not very ergonomic, not enough space, trip hazard and sink too close to the cabinet above easily hit your head.We didn’t like that we weren’t aware of the are amount of steps. This was difficult for our parents who have bad knees. They should have more accommodation that are not elevated. There was no lighting in the parking area below the elevated accommodation. Difficult to see upon arriving at night. These experience made the price not worth it.
It was well appointed and felt luxurious. Breakfast was included with the tariff which was a bonus. It also had an in-house restaurant which had reasonable prices but excellent-quality food.
We didn’t get to enjoy it to the fullest but it’s not because of the property as such, but due to the deluge that came down on the first night that we were there. We were just unlucky with the weather and the beach fronting the property got washed out.
The property was visually stunning-it was spacious and immaculate. Grounds were well maintained and the view of the ocean was simply stunning.
The villa was spacious, clean modern. The restaurant had an amazing menu with alot of variety to suit everyone. Service was quick and reasonably priced.
Location and relaxing atmosphere
Internet or lack thereof. I needed to reply to emails and it wasn't possible. Very frustrating.
Absolutely beautiful... spacious and clean ...great Decor...also great location
Quiet, secluded location. Easy access to the beach and attractions. Nice bar location.
Our room
That we couldn’t get a casual lunch. Also no face flannels available. No way of getting fresh air into our room without using the aircon which didn’t work anyway. Otherwise a great hotel in a lovely location.
Really lovely hotel, set in beautiful grounds a 1 minute walk from the most gorgeous and almost deserted, beach. It also had a really good and very reasonably priced restaurant.
Relaxed, set up to look after your own needs. The villas are well looked after, specious and comfortable.
No servicing to the villas. Check in wasn’t smooth. Also there is no pool. I thought this was advertised with a pool?
This was a trip experience that exceeded expectations, we had a very good rest in the room because it was very comfortable and quiet, which is what we want, next time we will come back and recommend to my friends
If you can smell some pleasant fragrance in the room, especially if the bedding smells good, it will be a perfect ending.
Beautiful property with huge apartment size room and kitchen
Staff a bit lacking in training and were multi tasking
Our villa, number 4, perfectly equipped, with direct access to to the beach just in front, and the pathway to the main hotel and restaurant.
Nice property, water front. Loved the stay.
Mini bar items are too expensive.
Spacious room with extremely comfortable bed. Complimentary continental breakfast. Food in the restaurant very tasty and big portions.
Restaurant lacked atmosphere. Housekeeping was slightly lacking. But management reacted well so not such an issue.
