Pros +
- Close to Shepparton
- The bed was clean but a firm mattress. A half litre of milk was supplied to have with the tea and coffee supplied.Plenty of bench and cupboard space with 2 chairs plus the couch.
- Nothing!
Cons -
- Bathroom door did not lock used a towel to keep door closed otherwise enjoyed my stay.Man at reception very welcoming.
- There was no smoke alarm which is against the law. The couch had bad wear marks in the coverings. The bathroom was of a poor standard and not very clean.
- The room was nothing like the photos on their website. Paint peeling off the roof, mold in the shower. Not to mention the soap dish that was broken on the shower wall that had exposed sharp edges. The overall room was just filthy,

The location close to SAM and Victoria Lake Park was very good. The size of the room; facilities provided; bed were all good and comfortable.
The street appearance of the motel was poor. Lawn needs to be mown and the gardens weeded.
Large clean airy room, comfortable bed, large TV, shower very good, handy to town good stopover accommodation
everything was okay
Not enough enough blankets, no bowls, noisy heater
Close to the city centre and main attractions and parks.
Not much lightning in the room. Tube lights not working. Room was quite dark. Not enough heaters in rooms. Kids room was really cold. Not enough blankets. Found Vb cans in the rooms once checked in.
Everything is good about this motel, except for the bed in Room 9, where we stayed. True, the building is no spring chicken, but everthing was functional, and the facilities are all spotlessly clean. The location, just south of the city centre was perfect, and the staff very friendly and helpful.
The bed was most uncomfortable - the only thing that we can fault in our stay.
As I was in town for volunteer work, a value price venue was what I wanted and this place was perfect. East walk to the train station, the Shepperton club and to the lake. I will return some day to look at the art gallery
No issues, knowing it was a low cost, value site i didnt a mordern room, but it was comfortable and I was very happy
Fresh linen, excellent bathroom, comfortable bed and friendly staff.whats not to like about this top budget motel. Thank you too for the comfortable renovation. See you next time!
Lighting with fluoro tube's could be improved.
location, was on the main road, close to amenities
Stayed in room 20 for one night. Could not sleep at all due to rodents running around in ceiling cavity. The back bedroom had a hole in the ceiling that was stuffed with newspaper to deter rodents from coming into the room! Throughout the night the rodents were chewing (loudly) on the newspaper, the children feared the rodents would fall through the hole onto them whilst asleep. Sleep was therefore impossible. Outdated rooms in desperate need of upgrade. Curtains and blinds dirty. Carpet in room had massive stains. Not value for money at all! Would not recommend.
The kettle was new and clean, didn't use the microwave but it looked fine. TV screen was ok. room was clean
mattress well overdue for replacement - too soft and had 'roll-together' so very uncomfortable. Lock on the door was stiff and hard to manipulate. Taps in the bathroom were also very stiff and difficult to turn on and off. Floor board in kitchen area was protruding; curtains were falling down and could not be opened or shut, tv remote was dodgy
Spacious family rooms. The property is bit dated but well maintained. Fresh linens and beddings were supplied every morning. The nicest thing was the breakfast service. You don’t need to go out for breakfast, just order it by the evening for the next day and they will serve you in the room. The pool is well maintained as well.
Nothing as such
Easy check in, happy friendly gentleman at reception. Room was lovely and clean with all modern convivences, comfort bed. Bathroom could do with a bit of a update but still clean and tidy. Price was excellent. We would stay there again. :-)
Didn’t have breakfast.
The tiles were off the shower wall. The water getting into the framework could be very damaging and expensive to fix if it is not attended to soon. However, the shower worked well.
Facilities were clean
It's on a main road used by locals with well built cars until early morning
embarrassed that I had booked it
despite knowing we would be 4 guests there were only towels cups etc for 2The fridge did not close properly because the freezer had a 10cm layer of ice The pool was not clean
Well trained operator, friendly, smart.
Nice and clean
Pillows too hard and the vent in bathroom didn’t work.
Run down but clean and cheap. Bed was good. Bathroom facilities were good. Curtains need replacing. Good for a one night stayover.
