Details to room not cleaned properly

Our daughter and grandkids purchased us a stay for Christmas and we loved it. We usually only camp in our caravan so staying in a hotel was extremely rare for us. The room was absolutely beautiful and we haven't stopped talking about it. The staff were all very lovely and we were treated as though we were special. We have a fabulous time. The fact that there was a restaurant at the venue was so convenient as we could relax and have a drink and not have to worry about driving back to the hotel.

Nothing, everything was amazing, we wouldn't have changed a thing.

Clean and comfortable rooms in central Shepparton. Fairly modern for Shepparton compared to other hotels.

We had to use the after hours service which was handled a bit strangely.

Beat, clean & beautifully presented rooms. Good value for money. Very friendly and professional staff. We ordered food from the restaurant and loved it. Beautiful amenities. We made use of the spa. Highly recommend.

Great location. Nice to have an indoor pool/spa/sauna at the end of a long day of driving. Clean room and very comfortable beds.

The Park Lake Hotel is very centrally located, which made it convenient for attending the car show and getting around Shepparton. The room was relatively clean, and the location is definitely a strong point if you want to be close to town and local events.

While the location was good, the stay didn’t quite match the price paid per night. For the cost, it would have been nice to receive at least a complimentary cappuccino or fresh milk for the in-room coffee. The walls were extremely thin, and noise from neighbouring rooms and outside was very noticeable, making it quite loud. The room itself was small and felt outdated, which was disappointing given the overall cost.

That the staff member Lauren remembered my name and had organised the same room that I liked. Very helpful, very kind and has very genuine qualities and character. She is great at her job and makes everyone feel welcomed.The room was comfortable and the swimming facilities were also great.

The other staff when checking out don't show that same authenticity or demonstrate genuine care. Their service felt cold/ short. As if they had better things to do. Lacks empathy. (No offence). The room needed more attention to detail, just small things, when it comes to cleaning they also need to look at any dried spill marks on cupboard especially in bathroomsMore complimentary water or even fruit should be offered, and this one is just an idea, online breakfast/Dinner order to be completed once we have made and paid for the booking, so breakfast is organised. (Optional) especially on a Sunday. Finally the price increase from 210 to 260 for one night is questionable.

Probably the nicest hotel in Shepp, in a fantastic location – opposite the lake and short walk into the CBD. Our King Executive suite was very spacious with a small balcony, comfy bed and sofa, and updated interior. Basic toiletries, fridge and tea/coffee facilities in the room. Easy parking undercover. Huge and lovely, light and bright indoor pool/spa leisure area. Room service every day, but the restaurant was closed due to reduced Christmas hours, which was the only disappointment! Despite this, we will stay again in future.

It was a shame the restaurant was closed for morning coffees! But understandable given the Christmas period. Luckily, there's a few good cafés within walking distance.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Made us feel like old friends

Beds were very comfortable had a very good night sleep! The pool area and gym facilities were amazing gym was very well maintained and aircon was at perfect temperature!

The bathtub/ shower

We stayed here during a heatwave. The pool was great and the service was fantastic. There was plenty of space for our family of four for two nights and the room is comfortable and well located with the playground brand lake across the road and on the edge of the town centre

I was surprised that the air conditioner in the room wasn’t already on when we arrived but it cooled down pretty quickly

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean, and facilities were very good.

Great facilities, great location, walking distance to town centre, very comfy bed and pillows.

A little confusing getting up to second floor via stairs and ramps. The lift was too far away.

My elderly grandma was travelling alone unexpectedly and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful in making sure she was OK, the service was amazing and we can't thank them enough.

The location and the staff were fantastic and the room was super comfortable

The pool was freezing cold but the spa was perfect

Toaster, Microwave & plates, while we didn't use them, could be useful

Kitchen & Cafe was closed over Christmas season, would have loved to have invited friends over on boxing day to meet at Parklake Cafe. (The hotel did advise it would be closed)
