The Carrington Hotel

The view of the lake and cockatoos flying over was lovely!. Lovely dining room and service. People at hotel friendly. Free internet appreciated.

The bathroom appears dinghy due from poor lighting. Would have liked a flimsy plastic shower cap provided. Executive room faces hwy (& lake view) so noise from hwy in room, single pane window so need to close blinds on hot day

TV's needs to be updated to smart TV's for the price off the room.

I was running late, so Mary was so kind to leave the key out for me. Perfect location opposite the lake for a late night summer stroll. Presentation & House keeping was immaculate.

I couldn’t connect to the WiFi so had to Hotspot off my phone.

Very nice bed and room spacious, staff nice and welcoming and restaurant was great food and menu.

No undercover parking. Aircon wasn't on as requested on arrival.

The room is well presented and has comfortable seating options. The bed was comfortable and venue is quiet.

For a spontaneous stay in Shepparton, the room was good. Enough space and the shower was lovely. The aircon worked well in the heat. As we were visiting family locally, the location wasn’t of huge importance but it is opposite the lake and that is always lovely.

I found the bed to be a bit soft but my travel companion was happy with it.

Stayed during peak of summer with temperatures in the 40s. Walked into the apartment and it was like a furnace. Putting the air con on even just prior to check in might have been a thoughtful thing to do. We left and come back very late to find hair in the bed. Dirty bed linen with what looked like make up on the bed. Clearly had not been cleaned in any part of the apartment. Dirty bathroom/kitchen/couch/curtains/walls/cups. Shower did not work properly and trickled water from the shower head. Water leaking brown dirty grout from behind tiles. Looks like a possible leaking pipe. Very skint on providing anything other than some tea coffee packets, 1 small uht milk for 4 people. Found this overpriced for what you received. Reported everything to reception and the man we dealt with was very nice but that was the only positive.

Dinner was lovely in the restaurant. Staff excellent!

The overpowering fragrance in the room and the noisy laundry next door. Breakfast was extremely salty. Spoiled the scrambled eggs

It was a hot day and the air conditioner was not on so took about 1/2 to cool down room

We loved the elegant room, the extra comfy bed and the restaurant! Everything was super clean. A convenient location, especially for early walks around the lake.

I gave reviewed a lot of places in my time at work as my job and This hotel was excellent from the time walking in to leaving it was a quick stay. It was stunning and i’ve stayed in grand hotels around the world and in Australia. The Christmas decorations were stunning When we walked in we were really in need of a coffee and cafe was closed. The lovely lady at front arranged it for us. I will def be back to do a proper stay not so rushed. The rooms were really nice. The only one thing it was a hot day and room was really hot. Once it kicked in it was great. Thanks Carrington x

We loved the hotel very clean rooms great bathroom with shower and bath Great coffee machine upon checking the receptionist was ever so helpful and welcoming Also the waiter in the restaurant was lovely

The car had no cover and were so hotIn the bathroom their was a leak in the showerOnly 1 small tube to make do for shower gel for two people Only 2 coffee capsules for 2 people really bad could not have more than one coffee The owner was not the most friendly nor welcoming person very abrupt We showed her a video clip of cobwebs at the restaurant and was argumentative when shower her the clip A real shame as it did put a downer on our special stay

Location.Beautiful entrance to the front lobby.Our suite well appointed.

The “Entrance” sign to the car park is on the wrong side of the building. There was ONLY one towel each. The assumption is perhaps…one shower or bath in a one night stay and no towel for hair?One face washerOne cake of soap….Although the suite was well appointed, there was little to no decorator touch leaving the feel clinical.We were not able to connect to the free wifi and I could not reach anyone for assistance although I phoned the front desk numerous times to no avail.

Comfy beds, bathrooms- shelf space and walk in shower.

Great location opposite the lake and close to town. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable but the bathroom could have used a good clean, smelly drains, mould was visible in the grout.

Person on reception upon check in could not have been less interested, no greeting, no pleasantries, made me wait an unecessary amount of time while having a personal conversation on the phone. Upon checkout, although the person was far more pleasant, she asked, "Did you have anything from the minibar?" I replied, "There was no minibar in the room "She said, "Yes I know, we had to take them all out as people were not paying, you need to ask if you wanted the minibar items. "So let me get this straight, I had to ask for items that I have no knowledge of in order to pay for them? Well done....
