Motel Wellington Wodonga

I gave the staff one out of ten because I never met a staff member. My key was left under the door mat. There was no problems but you can't give more than one to staff you never met.

Centrally located and well within range of everything Wodonga has to offer. Super friendly staff and simple room entry. No keys to worry about just an easy code.

Its was very clean and decent quality toiletries provided, especially for the price we weren't expecting anything flash. The keypad entry was good too, a nice way to streamline things for the customer and the business.

Location wasn't crash hot, especially with only one way in or out and being on a main road. But it did t deter me from wanting to book there again.

When I had problems, a phone call brought someone from offsite to my room very quickly, and she was pleasant and helpful.

The motel has no staff at reception. I don't like this new trend - you are given emailed instructions on how to get into your room, and that is your only interaction with them. Also, the motel is not well located, being some distance from the city centre.

Hot showers, free shower caps, and a microwave.

Property has been very poorly maintained. Missing door on breakfast bar, stained carpets, hole in bathroom door, bathroom door did not shut, shower walls had been re-grouted but not finished properly - looked like they used concrete?? Front door kept jamming and made opening and closing the door difficult and very noisy for the neighbors. You could see where previous fixtures had been - holes in walls and no attempt to repair or prep the wall before painting. Location was excellent for our purpose and loved the keypad entry - very easy and convenient. Overall though, very disappointed with the accomodation and would not recommend unless in a jam. It is worth noting that we had 2 rooms and both were in similar disrepair

Great price and everything you need for an overnight stopover. Easy access (keypad entry), great location with short walk into town centre. Room very comfortable and clean.

The facilities absolutely suited my requirements. It was quiet although near a main road and close to shops etc. The low rate makes a stay here very economical.

All expectations were met - clean comfy room, good location, room to park w/out unhitching,, microwave & fridge in the room, cable tv with a very reasonable tariff

Our room had a torn flyscreen so we didnt feel confident to leave the window open. When booking with booking.com I must have missed the extra AU$100 room deposit taken from my credit card, to be held in case of any damage or loss. :-(

Easy check-in, location just off highway for a quick overnight stay. Comfortable beds, clean rooms.

Powerpoint next to the bed decided to not charge mt phone overnight.

Very handy location. Excellent facilities. Ideal to break up my trip from Canberra to Melbourne

Bathroom a little outdated

The location was convenient. My room was at the back, away from the noise of a main road

I stayed in Room 15The shower did not drain properly and i was up to my ankles in water - see photoI called the emergency number to speak to a duty officer. I did not receive a call backThe bathroom was generally disgusting, with poor uneven tiling and dirty tile grout

The room still ha rubbish all on the floor. the bin had heaps of rubbish in it as we walked in. we had no toilet paper or dishwashing liquid. We had no milk in the fridge.

Good location to Hume Hwy and supermarket. Ver comfy beds and very clean. Will stay there again

Family room was comfortable

No contact meaning that if there is an issue you can’t get a hold of anyone as they do not answer the mobile provided unless you leave a message and they will then call you back if they feel it’s warranted. No service over the weekend so no fresh towels or beds made not too concerned with that but fresh towels were needed as we stayed for 3 days. No mention of this at all on website or several emails

I like quick access to the room just put pin & that’s it after long drive.Clean & great location to shops restaurants..However the rooms are too close to each other & the guests in the next rooms were a bit loud.

It can be noisy when having people drinking and talking loudly at the door at night; it is not really something the property can help, but just a reminder for fellow travellers.
