Pros +
- Excellent stopping place for walkers on the Hume and Hovell Track. We stayed two nights to recover after a long and tiring walk from Sam Bollard campsite.
- Good facilities for families, great cafe, petting zoo for the kids,
- Staff were nice. It was disappointing the Lake was so down and we did not know this until arrival which makes the pictures vs reality very very different. Great games room for kids.
Cons -
- A pity I couldn't buy a full hot meal at the cafe, only a burger, but for a burger it was very good.
- It’s to bunched up , everybody is on top of everyone , we had caravan in front and behind , at night our Cabin smelt of smoke, it’s a beautiful park with lots of grass on the side for kids to kick a footy or play cricket , but it underutilises, gravel road caused a lot of dust, only I toilet block, for the park, a bit to noisy for us,
- Unfortunately, the bed was terrible.

Great family atmosphere
meal at cafe was mediocre at best, sorry (food was very close to burnt)
Pool, AC, sensational food, hot shower comfy bed
Dirty dishes
Located out of town but on lake frontage, excellent base if you're looking for a water-ski site. Especially popular with young families. Cabins are getting a little on the dated side but have everything you need for a stay and are more than satisfactory.
Grandson was offered a partial refund for a booking mix-up but that turned out easier said than done so far.
Not a lot
Air con was not efficient for the cabin. Made the whole stay uncomfortable. It was a hot weekend. The pool smelt pissy.
I love the cabins and the facilities, great family holiday park
Beds are a bit hard, there was lots of wasps. Not the fault of the park at all though
Love the location and how quiet it is.
Had trouble on the 1st night as we didn’t have a fridge working. After the 3rd time it worked.
Great facilities, beautiful surrounds, right price!
A bit isolated
It was quiet and clean.
There’s facilities for families but not near enough as they get taken over by another gathering. We did not get to use these amenities. Including table tennis, kitchen areas , I believe there should be more available room for this. Especially when the weather isn’t good and it’s raining. There was no restaurant. There’s nothing to eat out there. Glad I Brang a lot to eat.
love the outlook, and parks play area
had to get in contact with them to change booking numbers
Overall the park is excellent, the facilities are great! So much for the children to do providing the weather is good (which for us it was) the pool and the splash park got full use.
The timetable for activities during the day could be much better and time management definitely needs looking at. Nothing we attended ran on time, some where delayed by a few hours which for children isn’t ideal. A better program for school holidays could be implemented and there’s a lot of room for improvement.
Friendly staff, helpfulpark was quiet after 10:30pmaccommodation was convenient
less leaves in the pool
Like the area I stay easy access to the lake
That it’s only one car at a hut when I brought a boat I couldn’t have my car and boat there which needs to change so you can have 2 vehicles at a hut so then you don’t have to worry about things being stolen out of the boat and disconnecting the boat off the car every day to charge it also there was other sites with 3 to 4 vehicles at it and nothing was said to them people
Loved the Lakeside location and the wild life. Cabin contained everything we needed and comfortable too.
Bit further out than I thought.
The location and cleanliness was impeccable. Staff were super friendly and always working to ensure guests have everything at hand.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, their restaurant menu are budget friendly which is excellent. It is also a very child friendly environment from the playground, water park, swimming pool, kids activities, and mini kids farm. As for the adults, we enjoyed the paddle boarding. Overall, it was a very good experience for family.
The cabin and camping sites are mixed together, and I feel that it is a little disorganised like some area if you open your cabin main door, there's a camp van in front of your door that is also blocking the beautiful view. Also, need to update the light features it's kinda dark in our room. The pendant light is blocking to maximise the light.
Great location and excellent for my travelling companion my dog. He loved being able to run off lead and fetch his ball from the lake. He was in doggy heaven ❤️❤️
