Albury Allawa Motor Inn

The receptionist was exceptional. Apart from her smile, personality and friendliness she was most helpful and accommodating answering my Q's for Albury. Allowing the use of the business's freezer over night for my frozen lasagnas was awesome! Would I stay there again. YES!

As an overnight stay the motor inn well met my expectation therefore there was nothing to dislike. The room was clean, tidyand comfortable. Hot water was in abundance - could not ask for more. No issues at all

We stay at this motel whenever we stop at Albury and were surprised to find it had changed hands. The new management have made pleasant improvements to the gardens on the property.

Great location, roomy with a very comfortable bed and couch. Great little kitchenette with a small kitchen sink to wash our breakfast dishes. Newly painted exterior

Poor noise insulation and noisy neighbors.

Clean, extra blankets and pillows provided, small kitchenette with microwave, toaster and kettle, good size room.

Tried to have a shower when I got back to the room in the evening and the water wouldn't heat to any temperature except for slightly above freezing.

A warm, clean and comfortable motel with a welcome kitchenette and sink to wash up our dishes. We slept well in a new and very comfortable bed. We also appreciated the couch and generous sized table for breakfast. Plenty of hot water for showers too.

The only fault was the shower head which probably needs to be replaced

The shower had a small amount of mould & the taps weren’t very good as they easily came off.

Very clean room, nice and big room. Plates and cutlery supplied plus microwave so if you wanted to eat in you could. Very short walk to main street which has lots of restaurants

Location is ok.

The staff didn't let us know that there's no room cleaning services during our stay, didn't change our towels, no sign of saying so.I was woken up at 1.30am by a couple talking outside their room, again after 2am by the thumbing noise nextdoor, sounds like water pipe thumbling for more than 5 minutes, what restless night.If anyone staying here, highly recommend bring along some ear plugs, because you can here noises outside easily. Hope you guys have better experience than me.

The bed was lovely - mattress and pillows very comfortable.

The motel is in good condition for it's age.

Sadly, even though the pool is officially open "10am to 8pm" (no idea why not before 10am) don't expect to be able to actually access it. Our check out was 10am, kids patiently waited for 10am to check out then finally access the pool, only to be told "you have checked out now, it's not available for you, and anyway the pool is not open until the afternoon, you can't use it". Even when we offered to help with cleaning out the 2 or 3 leaves it was no and some disappointed kids. Not worth paying more to stay here with a small pool that doesn't even get unlocked for you to use, or even a polite or reasonable explanation. Sad interlude to an otherwise pleasant trip. Recommend choosing another of the many places in Albury where you can actually access the facilities you have paid to have access to.

The property was clean, the bed comfortable and the facilities available were adequate for an overnight stay. The motel is rated 3 stars and it meets that criteria. The room was subject to noise from adjoining rooms in that neighbours rising early and using showers would wake the dead.Seems popular with travelling tradies. Parking is adequate.

All on one level. No stairs.All the usual amenities in room.

Hairs were not suitable for working on my computer

This was my second stay in three days after a visit to Melbourne. A different room, clean and tidy, a comfortable bed and adequate room facilities.Bathroom noise from adjoining rooms in the small hours remained a problem with noisy showers, etc.The bathroom ceiling in this room was cracked and repaired with a gauze tape, hopefully a temporary measure, not sure.The motel is rated 3 stars and it lives up to that.

Clean, spacious room, friendly staff, location central.There was a noise on the roof at night that sounded like an air conditioner vs possums. Hot water took a while to come if you haven’t showered for a while.

Staff great and it was clean. But, all night there were pipes or something banging loudly and then barely any water coming out the shower in the morning. I told the staff so maybe they will do something about it, but I won't stay here again.

Great price, extremely clean and convenient position. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay again even for a few days. Our room was well equipped for a short stay with microwave, toaster, jug and crockery and cutlery
