Hume Country Motor Inn Albury

The receptioist was lovely, very cheerful, friendly & very helpful. Our room was quite large & the bed was extremely comfortable.Nice wide parking. Lovely swimming pool.

The pump next to our room was a little noisy.

A very comfortable and quiet motel offering great value for money.

For our needs, there were no dislikes.

The property was easy to locate, great parking, very clean and spacious. Josie was incredibly helpful with my late check-in. Beds were very comfy!

Staff phoned to let me know how to access the room as I was arriving later in the evening. Very comfortable and close to where I needed to be on the Tuesday. Thank you.

The property was not up to keep and very bland.. doors and curtains were squeaky and not up to standard. Other guests were also smoking illegal substances..

Being close to the pool and how clean the room was.

Could hear the bathroom next door. As they showered at 6.30am. Not a maker fault but it did disturb my sleep.

The sheets were clean.

There were no net curtains so the heavy curtains had to stay closed the whole time, there was no lock on the fly screen door so couldn't leave it open; the location is out of the way and not easy off the highway. There is NO wifi.

The room was clean and a good shower. The location is very quiet.

The grounds needed maintenance.

Spa was good but taps were confusing as it didnt turn off, but ricky worked out a trick to it.Bed was comfy.

Parking for car and trailer

The furniture and furnishings are getting a little dated. This time, the room wasn't as clean as it normally is

The room was clean and spacious. The mattress was so comfy I had a great sleep.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

The Hume Country Motor Inn is not directly in Albury, it’s a 5 minute drive, but the location is perfect. It’s quiet and peaceful and absolutely no road/freeway noise. The beds were really comfortable and the hot water was fantastic.

The motel is dated, like a lot of old motels in Australia. Some of the communal areas are in need of updating and/or replacing. But our room was perfectly clean and comfortable.

It wasn't as clean as I expected - there was a long hair in one of the coffee mugs and grime around the bathroom basin

Horrific approach to customer service

We were absolutely appalled by the treatment of the staff- rude, abusive and dismissive of the State of Disaster in Victoria due to the fires. I understand management will change soon but the current managers are in the wrong industry. We have never faced worse customer service in Australia.

The Motel was very cleaned and staff were so good. Been in the pool every day and Albury Central wasn’t far to do some shopping and restaurants. I would definitely go back again to relax.

There was nothing to dislike.

Sliding doors don't have keys to lock/unlock

Comfortable room and bed. Unfortunately didn’t get to use the pool as we were only stopping over between Sydney and Melbourne.

The only downside was that it was far from the main part of Albury- but not a problem for a stopover.
