Green Door Motel

The room was better than other motels I have stayed in because it had a 2 seater sofa which was very comfortable and a small dining table, It was very clean and very easy to access and was able to park the car right outside the room

The room did not have a radio

the unit was at the front and even though it was at the front with some road noise it was still ok, the bed wa actually quite good and the latex pillow excellent as I prefer those.

for some reason there were a few large ants and insects in the unit which didn't really bother me but is not a good look. Also, there were soap dispensers with no soap but to be fair some soap cakes and shampoos were available. The sink in the bathroom was ...well what can I say not in its best dress ! it looked like it had better days and seemed to have some ( possibly) cigarette burns in it ??

It was cheap and I guess you get what you pay for. Bed was good.

Bathroom was bad. Tap almost fell off sink. Sink was pitted and dirty Sink cupboard doors broken. No lace curtain on front window for privacy do we had to keep blinds drawn

No proper tap water to make some breakfast, kitchen utensils are not placed properly. No blind curtains for privacy.

Bed was comfortable, had all the amenities you could need

For a budget stay this was a great find.Yes, the facilities are basic, but this is what this stay was about.We were just looking for a comfortable budget stay while traveling back to Melbourne. And it delivered very well. Clean, quiet, comfortable beds, etc...

Upon entering the room it had a funny smell. In the bathroom was a dead cockroach on the sink and a dirty toilet. Upon pulling back the sheet and blanket in one of the single beds, 2 bugs ran across the bed. When pulling back the double bed blanket a toe nail was found. There was also limited hot water. Not a place I would visit again.

COLD SHOWER!!!We stayed 3 nights, one evening and 2 mornings were cold showers!!!

Great location as I was visiting friends nearby. Plenty of equipment for me to be self-sufficient such as utensils, crockery, microwave, toaster, bar fridge, kettle. The bed was comfortable and warm. The bathroom was clean.

As the motel catered for workers, it was a bit noisy when they left early in the morning.

Security, front trap door can be easily forced opened needs to be locked, there's only a turn handle inside.

There as clean linen on the bed and the room was clean. There was a working tv and air conditioning.

The motel grounds and building were unkept/untidy. There were cigarette butts all over the driveway, there were old couches out the front of some rooms and the tables and chairs that were available were dirty. There was a lounge at the end of the bed which was old and took up space, the curtains were awful. I understand that the motel is very old, but this was cheap and tacky. When we arrived we were greeted rudely.

We stayed for one night. Arrived late, slept and left early. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. The location suited us on our way north. It is great value for money.

Very good value for money. Super easy contactless process to access the key and my room late at night and get back on the road early. Owners communications were very good.

Would have loved to use the BBQ but unfortunately it was dirty and the outdoor table needed cleaning too.

A very old style motel and cheap but very good clean bed which is suitable for travellers passing through but very bland for couples or families.

Firstly, there was no smoke detector. The unit was very old style so the black window blind was depressing and if there had been a light curtain we could have lifted the blind. The tap was loose and flopping around and the door under it was loose. The handbasin was discoolured from long use. The lounge was covered by a dull looking cover with pieces of hanging rain holding down the sides. Voices could be heard from next door. The shelves were covered in dull contact.

I stay here on a regular basis when travelling interstate. It is excellent value for money & close to the highway . Everything you need for an overnight stop .

It is old but still functional

No people at reception for checkin. I have to call several times using extremely expensive roaming on my mobile in order to get keys from our rooms.
