Tumut Valley Motel Pet Friendly

I enjoyed the sunset and galahs flying all over the premises. The bathtub was awesome. The room was spacious and comfy. They had nice local ciders to purchase at the reception.Huge thank you to the crew for finding the smart ring that I left behind! They found it, called me, and they sent it to me by post. Absolute legends!

Seemless check in, excellent directions and staff member very friendly. Room was spacious, clean and warm. Rooms were quiet, parking at the door. All services in the room worked well and had everything we needed for our stay

Wooden spoon Egg flipper ( especially needed when using Teflon ) No cutting board , no sharper knife eg. to cut a tomato piece of cheeseno tin opener Very disappointing -given the room was so comfortable and nice

I liked the art deco styling at the front of the hotel and the service was awesome!

There isn't a huge amount of sound proofing but it didn't prove to be an issue at bedtime.

Very comfy and clean rooms with good facilities. The motel manager and staff were very friendly and gave us good tips for sightseeing around Tumut, as it was our first time visiting this lovely town.

It was only one night.

It was a family room and it looked like the previous families had used it well. Torn curtains, bent towel rack ready to fall off the wall, just to name a few items.

A very comfortable room, which more than met our needs for a one night stopover. A busy Motel, but still reasonably quiet.

Television sound was not great, but not unusual these days. Pity the Restaurant was not operational.

It was old, curtains falling off, lights left on outside which made the front bedroom light and hard to sleep in and the floor was dirty

It wasn't good. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were old and thin. Our room was small, cramped and awkward. Some of the other guests were playing loud music until late into the night. All in all, very disappointing.

The staff were amazing. Left my iPad they returned it promptly by mail no fuss. They were professional and the room was disability friendly and lovely and clean

I thought the dog fee of $40 was a bit excessive, other hotels charge $12. Understand that some owners may not be responsible but a small well socialised house dog should not be compared with a larger more active dog. Something to think about as a large fee for my dog would be a de vision maker for me going forward. However as u said it was very clean.

Massive room! Bathroom with spa nearly as big the rest of the room! Quiet location. Comfy bed.

This is a very well presented motel despite having a nostalgic 1980s vibe to it. The rooms are large, fresh and airy and really clean. The grounds are spacious and green with lovely views to the Snowys.

The positives are completely undermined by the following, unfortunately:1. Beds that are harder than the rocks making up the wall of the nearby dam. Did not sleep for two nights.2. In a town with plenty of water, showers with minimal pressure.3. Rooms are positioned east-west meaning you get a very bright greeting when the sun rises each morning thanks to rather inadequate roll blinds.4. Exterior night lighting is great for security, not so great for sleep. And inexplicably all goes out about 3-4amIt’s a shame because the motel has so much potential. Won’t be back.

Easy access, clean, quiet
