Clean and comfy with large rooms

Manager needs to learn some customer service..... Was Trickle charging a plug in hybrid, knock on the door at 8 PM ...first words..." its $10 to charge your car mate" Nothing else... This is not mentioned anywhere by the way, web site, notices etc etc ( The charging cost is about $3 if they are paying std 26c/kwhr ) It would have been the 8th time we stayed there. We paid but some people just dont get it... it will be the last time we stay there, all for $10 and attitude.

Absolutely massive room. Built when space was obviously spared no expense. Toilet separate to bathroom - great touch for three people. Good kitchen facilities. Overall, great value for money. Would absolutely stay here again :)

Slightly too close to the highway. I tad noisy, but I like it quiet.

The room was very clean and comfortable, perfect for a one‑night stopover. Beds were great and everything was tidy. The pool was a nice bonus in the hot weather. Only small inconvenience was limited access to powerpoints because the bedside tables are fixed to the wall.

Our confirmed cot request wasn’t honoured. Despite receiving an email saying the cot was provided at no extra charge, reception told us it would cost $15. The staff member was dismissive and not willing to help, and we ended up unpacking our own portacot for just one night. This let down an otherwise decent stay.

The room was spacious and comfortable, clean, and the shower was great. This is absolutely the best hotel in Gundagai.

Everything was perfect, so nothing to critique apart from no biscuits.

We have stayed at Tuckerbox Motor Inn before. It is convenient, just off the highway. We stayed in the room with a spa bath which was very welcome after riding our motorcycles. Very close to petrol station and some fast food places, but not far to go into Gundagai for a meal at one of the hotels/club

The room was very spacious and super clean. I read someone else's review that they could smell how clean their room was when they first walked in and I definitely agree with this. The beds were extremely comfortable too. We had a really good sleep after a long drive.

Didnt get to meet the owners/managers. The office was closed when we got there at 8.30pm and was not open when we left at 8.30am.

Tiles in the shower were slippery with soap on them.

The place was very very generous in size. Right opposite service station and 5 minute walk to Macca's or a short scenic 5 minute drive to main street in town. Owner was very nice too.

Been staying here for years. Well located on Hume highway and quiet. Large rooms, kitchenette and lounge area. Bds are comfortable and its a short care ride into Gundagai township itself.

Close to freeway entry/exit with no traffic noise. Very spacious queen size family room with spa (that worked and was much needed after days of driving). Tea/coffee facilities, toaster and lots of glasses and cutlery/plates/bowls in room. Toilet was seperate to the bathroom with its own basin. Off street parking in front of room. For trailers/caravans etc extra space for parking.

The pool was closed off for use. No hand-soap in the toilet room.
