Definitely not 4 star. No hairdryer and very old fittings

What a fantastic stay. Check in was easy (and thoughtful and friendly), the room had everything we needed and it was very handy to walk to the playground and supermarket nearby. Will stay again.

The lights outside the room were very bright and curtains in effective . This made sleeping very difficult

The room was equipped with everything that we needed.The bed was comfortable & had electric blankets, It gets very cold in Gundigai at night.

Well presented, very nice bed linen, excellent toiletries provided. Heater worked very well on a particularly cold night. Great location to walk into town. Staff were very welcoming.

It was only for one night but would have preferred another room if staying longer. I like a small room but the design of this one was too tight for 2 people. So little space around the bed.

Location is perfect only short walk to RSL and shops also main street. Critteron hotel does amazing meals and has nice beer garden area.

Nothing stayed few times on my trips back and forth from country vic to Sydney for work

The motel is in a very convenient location with plenty of off-street parking. The room was very comfortable with very good to excellent facilities. The shower was ideal, as it was adjustable for guests of varying heights. Also, there were extra features, such as an iron and ironing board, hair dryer and toaster.

A great motel, big rooms, very clean, easy to get to from the highway but far enough that there is no traffic noise overnight. Gundagai is a small town with lots of character, a good place to break up a journey. Avoid the nearby Chinese restaurant (extremely bland) but definitely visit the Niagara Cafe in town.

I stayed at Poets Corner due to recommendation as it's very close to the RSL for evening meals.For this reason only I gave an 8 out of 10 because the dining at RSL was closed for 2 weeks. Disappointed.......but this wasn't Poets Corner Motels fault but it did make for a less appetising meal elsewhere.

Stairs to room difficult as part of staircase nothing to hang on to. Plus an area from car park was elevated and went unnoticed til almost tripped.

Our favourite stopover on the Melbourne to Sydney trip. The poets’ plaques on each room are very informative. Last 2 rooms were icons Henry Lawson and Dorothea Mackellar. Oh and the facilities are great. Highly recommend.
