Gundagai Gabriel Motor Inn

This hotel was easy to find in a great central location. Easy to park and plenty of space to put our things. The room was cosy and quiet to sleep in. Everything clean. Check in was easy. This hotel is good to cater for travelers who need a stop mid trip.

Would have been nice to have been offered a better soap and pillows. Maybe even a microwave in the room. Tissues would have been handy also with the cooler weather.

Location is ideal, close to town centre and motorway both north and south.

Convenient location, lots of amenities in the room, friendly and accommodating staff.

Although extremely cold, the air-conditioner was up to the challenge, the room was clean, bathroom cold, shower hot and location was far enough off the highway to be unaffected by traffic noise.

Although not necessary, I would have liked some warmth in the bathroom.

Clean well priced room, standard accomodation with all that is required for an overnight stay, microwave, Kettle and the standard complimentary items in the room, located in the main street with easy access to the local leagues club 2 hotels, supermarket and cafe's comfortable bed and newly renovated bathroom. Have stayed here numerous times and will definitely use it again.

Good location, quick and easy check in, very clean

The room was clean and comfortable and quite adequate for a one night stay on the Melbourne to Sydney journey.

It was easy to access. Quiet & the staff were amazing

Parking for number one & two were in the driveway. Also it needed shade for parking it was 43 degrees & we are traveling to Qld car loaded with Christmas gifts. Sooo hot WiFi stopped so couldn’t watch end of the show on Netflix

Great location on main street - double glazed windows kept it quiet inside.

We liked it because there were no stairs. It was close to shops. It was clean, fresh and lovely.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Loved the extra room each side of the bed, 2 bedside tables and lights, suitcase rack and desk. The bathroom was also more generous in size than a newer motel. The supermarket was 2 minutes walk away, the RSL Club 5 minutes walk away and hotels and cafes 7-10 minutes walk from the motor inn. Parking available right in front of your room door.

This is a great overnight motel for travellers. The lady who greeted us was so friendly and polite. She had arranged an upgrade. We had undercover parking right outside the unit which was a life saver as there was a torrential downpour as we arrived. The unit was very spacious and had a modern bathroom . powerful shower and comfy bed. Walk just next door to Woolworths or the RSL where we had a super delicious Thai dinner. right opposite a park and walking distance to town. And off highway so quiet.

Location

Our room faced the footpath and main road. There was no allocated car space. The room’s furnishings were old, mismatched and uncomfortable. There was a door which led to the office which meant we could hear everything. The manager refused to assist us with a problem. He would not even come down to talk to us. Never again! Do not stay here.

It was well located .It was clean .

We arrived after dark .Toilet broken ( did not flush ).Told the manager . Toilet remained broken until our departure next morning .

We often stat here on our way to Sydney, location is perfect to walk to dinner, rooms clean, basic but comfortable ?

No soap, toilet seat broken and no free to air on TV

Clean comfortable room. Not large but adequate and close to the Soldiers club for a meal. Gundagai is a regular stop for us between Melbourne and Sydney. We have stayed at various other places and we would recommend Gabriel Motor Inn for ticking the most boxes. Also good value.
