Comfortable beds

The bathroom sink had 4 cracks on it. We paid over $400 per night, i.e.we paid a premium price, but a room with a badly cracked sink is not a premium experience. I think the management should have advised us of the issue and offered the room for a discount of say 15 or 20%

Clean and beautiful decor. Appreciated the instant coffee and hot chocolate. The location is central. Hope we had a chance to stay longer.

Price, staff very nice

Garden view room looked out 3 feet to parking lot. Nice gardens around parking lot but this is a motel and cars are right outside your door. Woken a few times early, from a sound sleep, by very loud motor cycles starting and leaving. Room was nice but bathroom very dated.

Room was very basic. Appearance of hotel was outdated. Limited staff hours.

Great location within walking distance to Main Street and a good choice of restaurants. Room was very clean, great shower and very comfortable bed. Would stay again.

Good location

Checking in was impersonal (ie no one there in day time 3.00pm) and unprofessional. After a long journey and being wet through from downpour host refused to let us into room to sort ourselves out and then settle payment.

We stayed in 2 bedroom suite. It was very clean, well maintained with all the facilities we needed. Completely private, with access to terrace and balcony. Property manager Rob is very friendly and helpful. He welcomed us by sending message and check in process was super smooth. I liked everything about this place.

Location, quiet, convenience

The room was very nicely equipped, clean and comfortable. The cookies/bisquits were a nice touch.

Checking in was a bit sketchy. Found out our room number from another guest. However, did receive a call from the manager after getting in to make sure everything was okay.

The property is centrally located and while it is on the main road, it was quiet and provided easy access for arrival and departure. The staff were extremely friendly and even organised a plumber to fix a sticky plug in the handbasin before I even mentioned it. There were close food options and in-room delivery services were offered from a nearby restaurant. Ample parking was available. Room facilities were good, including a microwave, crockery, cutlery, an electric kettle and toaster. A choice of pillows was provided.

Lighting on the stairs after dark was minimal and could be improved.

Room was very clean and there were lots of little extras. Night light in bathroom, biscuits, good lighting, large cups, extra chairs, crockery. Couldn't hear traffic noise.

Bed was a bit firm. Woken up on Sunday morning by a car alarm right outside our room (not motels fault). Limited parking.

Clean and safe accommodation in good location, walking distance to places to eat. Staff friendly and good customer service. Fridge, microwave and kettle in room with a menu for a local eatery that delivers to you. Plates, bowls and cutlery provided also.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable, as the mattress had a noticeable dip that made it difficult to get comfortable with both people rolling into each other and/or off the bed. In 2025, I would hope for a Nespresso machine in the room instead of instant coffee and whilst the shower was powerful and hot, the bathroom / shower has not been modernized.
