The room

Nobody at the reception, you have to check your email to get instruction about you room. I had trouble to open my email so I could not get my room. There was a number for assistance , but nobody answered the phone. I had to wait for the cleaning lady

Very well kept property close to amenities. Streamlined self check in !

It was easy to check in and out.The room was clean and comfortable.

Great location close to downtown and the water. The room was comfortable and spacious with a seating area and tables. Easy check-in and the communication was super.

Really clean and comfortable

No outdoor space to sit, not really a problem as the weather wasn’t great during our stay. A little outside the centre, about 30 minutes walk, but a nice walk.

The bedroom area was freshly renovated and a good size. Nice little kitchennete space.

It was a little bit out of the main town (20 minute walk) and the bathroom was a little dated, but it was spotless! We liked everything

Loved the back deck overlooking farmland (room 11!). We drove into town, but a walk would have been easy. Clean, functional lovely for our new years eve in Port Fairy :)FYI the hair dryer is stuck to the wall in the bathroom so bring your own if you want to free up the bathroom for othersSelf check in/out instructions were easy. No staff on site but no prob for us. There was a room full of young guys next door getting ready to party on NY's eve, so I was a bit worried about the noise, but we didn't hear a thing. Insulation must be good!

It's not town centre or near the water, you are looking about a 20min walk or 2-5 minute drive. Was fine for us as we spent very little time in the room

Sorry nothing worth $400 a night..

Where do I start.. If you’re going to charge $400 a night then at the very least don’t wake your guest’s blaring wood chipper right outside our door way at 8am. It was absolutely terrible first to be woken and then to have it blarring for 15-20 mins outside our door. Workers had ear muffs, we had not even a warning. I know they were trying to beat the heat, but they could have done it the following day at a more appropriate time. If you want to charge 4-5 star prices don’t treat your guess like a 1 star. Felt cheated and totally ripped off.

The room was full of dead flies, one of the pillows had no pillow case in it and left on the bed.
