NOT A VERY MUCH - I WALKED OUT AND DIDN'T STAY AND MADE OTHER ARANGEMENTS. - THEY DIDN'T HAVE MY BOOKING.

- THE GAVE ME A SINGLE ROOM WITH POOR HEATER. - CHANGED TO DOUBLE ROOM AS BOOKED BUT NO HEATER - NO LIGHT IN THE HALLWAY. LONG WAY TO SHARED BATHROOM. TOILET CURTAIN WAS SCREW TO THE ARCHITRAVE. COBWEBS ABOVE CURTAIN HAD BEEN THERE A LONG TIME.

Meals fantastic , staff friendly, beds comfortable, Kitchen/ lounge area great. Everything you need.

CLEANLINESS and NO COOLING of any kind in bedrooms unable to open windows because no fly screens. Next time we will Take our own fan…

Price and location great. The staff were very friendly too.

Food was awful, worst butter chicken I've ever had. Rooms adequate but stuffy. Only one window opened and it opened to the smoking area where people were talking/drinking until midnight. Not an issue if you can close a window but without a fan or Aircon this was wasn't an option.

the bed was clean and comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and friendly. Kitchen facilities were pretty good.

No airconditioning or fan in the room. Bathrooms and toilets were dirty. the whole place was dirty. The meals were not that good. In the bathrooms there was no room to put toiletries while having a wash.

Evening meal was ok, staff were friendly.

No air conditioning in room Communal room was unclean at the sink area.

Had a nice meal, staff were friendly, locals were friendly, room was clean and bed comfortable.

The location but there were no food options in town beside the pub and the restaurant was shut.

The place was dirty and in real need of renovation. The staff member that greeted us was great but what she had to ffer was not.

Nothing much to mention

No Fan in room, room had bad smell, dusty, loud sound till 1am not able to sleep for family, staff asked to open windows & had all dirt at windows, were risk of insects & flies, hard time to rest

Great price for a spontaneous road trip

We booked on this site, but the hotel didn't check it. So they didn't know we were coming, and also didn't ever follow up on payment!

The location was perfect for me , the off street car park was great , free fast wi fi is much appreciated , the staff were more than helpful and very friendly . The pub is close to a supermarket and a bakery wich is always a plus .

Just the bed , I`m 6`4" but the bed had a rail at the foot so I didn`t fit . Otherwise it was clean with a good mattress , and a choice of 2 pillows .

Can't beat the price. Showers nice.

Very unclean place. The beds were full of dust and so does the entire place. The urine smell was unbearable.

Advertised as rooms with a bathroom but is shared bathroom. I should have been offered a small discount but management says they’re working on it.

Good price but very basic. Food and service at the pub were great.

There was nothing that I liked. First time I stayed in the one place where I have nothing good to say about it.

You get what you pay for $80. First of all, the place looked closed we had to navigate through the place to find the lady who drinking and hanging out with her mates out the back. Beforehand I was trying to call her and the pub to tell them that we would be checking in later. I couldn't get through to them the whole day. I know it is a public holiday being the 26th December but they should have better service than this. The place is old and dilapidated. There is no tv in the room. There is a shared bathroom, and the room is dusty and smells funny. The town Cobden is a ghost town. Not a soul around the place. It was so bad that I was willing to pay $220 to stay in a motel in Warrnambool and drive with my partner for 45 minutes. The place gives you the creeps like in those horror movies where if you stay there something bad is going to happen to you.

This is very quiet place where people live, but the pub is not suitable to people stay overnight: (1) no A/C; (2) no private bathroom; (3) no good bedding under Australia hotel standard and (4) no microwave in room. In fact, this pub is very old and poor if it is as hotel for people stay overnight. I like to say “it is not suit to a family’s travelling actually”. Also I understand that it will need much money for improving its facilities. It is a risk investment.

It is very good that the internet(wifi) is fast! Staff are great!

Everything we needed- affordable and they catered to my request of flowers for an anniversary!

The manager was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Even though the pub would not serve dinner to house guests due to a function they had that night, we were directed to the golf club down the road where we got enjoyable and affordable meals.

The shared facilities (bath rooms, kitchen) had not been cleaned for a while. They weren't disgusting but not tidy either. They clearly had been used for a couple of days. Not what I expect from a hotel.Although they normally offer dinner, check before you arrive! May happen that they don't due to a function.The room was really tiny, just beds. No wardrobes, not even places to hang your clothes.
