Extremely clean and nice staff.I forgot my down vest and they messaged me before I recognized and helped to post to me.
Sunny and very quiet in the morning. Fantastic beds and linen.

Good location. Property was clean.

The room was up to date , clean and well set out , highly recommended this place , and the caretaker was wonderful , as it was a last minute booking online and she had already gone home

There were spider webs in the room. The mattress were very old and saggy. The bedsheets were faded. Lighting poor.
better mattress, cleanliness in the room.
Great to have the restaurant there. Very old school hotel which added to its location
Bed a little uncomfortable & pillows
Great location! The lady at the reception was really nice! Er is a restaurant at the property! Nearby the west coast wilderness railway!
If you’re a bit tall, the shower can be uncomfortable
Clean, well-appointed, the room was small but plenty of space to move around. The bathroom was immaculate, and the shower was great. Jacky was a helpful host on-site restaurant, which was terrific. Views were wonderful.
That we had to leave this lovely space to continue our holiday.
Good value, it’s located at the quiet part of town and the on site restaurant was convenient (and tasty). The property was kept clean and the bed was very comfortable.
The decoration is a bit dated.
Very clean, great view, comfortable bed, great tv
Heat lamps didn’t work. Shower curtain allows water to go everywhere
Spacious, quiet, private - didn't see any staff at check-in or check-out and it worked really well.
Everyone we encountered was really friendly. We were very comfortable staying at the Gold Rush Inn. All our need where met and the location and parking were great too. Not a thing to comment or critique.
Not a think I didn't like.
Motel room on outskirts of town. It was quiet and gave us all the basics. Also had a bath! Beautiful country en route, Arthur's Lake, moorlands and giant gum forests in the highest country, then rainforest and spectacular mine site entering Queenstown. Rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias are abundant in small gardens. Queenstown is an old mining town. See the scalped hillsides.
Proximity to Queenstown railway. Comfortable bed.
There was a nasty smell in the bathroom, probably emanating from the toilet. Probably indicative of a plumbing problem. Parking was an issue. Not enough spaces for all patrons.
Loved Queenstown. Loved the accommodation and Loved the restaurant and all the staff were encoun/ered.
Couldn't stay long enough.
Could park outside the room.Shower pressure was very good.Nice and quiet - away from main part of town.Reception was very welcoming.
The fridge was leaking water. The bed was extremely hot - couldn’t turn the electric blanket off. Almost fried and had to sleep on to of top sheet however still very hot.
Good
Restaurant was not open the 3 nights i was there! Office hours were minimal. Long way to the town restaurants that were open.
