Barclay Motor Inn

I liked the location, a quiet street and only 2 blocks to the seafront. My room was very comfortable with a good space and equipment for making your own food. Children enjoyed the swimming pool and I wished I had brought my bathers.

My room was not airy, depite opening windows. The airconditioner provided helped considerably, but some guests might find this difficult.

The Inn was clean and quiet and had everything we needed. The water pressure was excellent and the staff were very helpful and accommodating.

The beds we super comfy. Facilities are nice and clean. Pool is very clean and warm, lots of pool towels also.

That 3rd speed bump always gets me as I forget it’s there. :)

Firstly, we loved the location - close enough to town to get dinner and everyday goods, close to beaches, but still very quiet.In the rooms, the bathroom was very good, as was the overall design of the room. The kitchenette was reasonably large and had pretty much everything we needed.A nice pool on-site if you aren't a beach-type person.

The double bed felt really small and were very soft. (I understand that the firmness of beds is a personal choice but, even still, these felt VERY soft.)Only 2 comfy chairs to sit on in a room designed for 3. Would have been nice to have a 2-seater couch in there instead of one of the armchairs.It was a shame that the pool was only opened 9am-6pm. We were a family on holidays - we were out exploring through those hours and it would have been nice to come back in the evening and have a quiet dip in the pool.

Lovely staff rearranged the room for us as we needed a stove up.

TV had issues connecting to wifi and the water pressure and temperature in the shower was a issue.

Could upgrade hair dryer. Maybe supply more utensils like a pair of scissors. Be great if swimming pool was open at 5am for the early risers and need to leave by 9am.

The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean, which made the stay very pleasant. The kitchen facilities were also very useful.

The indoor pool was relaxing

The 3rd bedroom was more of a Harry Potter type cupboard . It had no windows or ventilation it was litterally a converted roof space. Bedroom 2 had no windows either just a skylight that the wind whistled through and the blind on it flapped in the breaze.

Great place to stay. Communication was spot on. Easy check in and out. Extra bonus they have electric blankets and leave a heater on for you.Pool was great perfect to relax in.Will be back

Old and shabby. Hot water went cold both nights so we missed showers

Early check-in, breakfast and room facilities

Service, we had a flat tyre and late to checkin. One phone call to them and found our room had been upgraded heater on and our room was left open for us to arrive when we could. Couldn’t be more helpful.

The room was comfortable, everything was really clean and fresh. Loved the location too. Highly recommended

No power point in the bathroom Limited servicing of the room. Once in 3 days Washing up in the bathroom sink Room was very small

Friendly staff, easy to book, facilities great and very comfortable
