Location was great staff were friendly and helpful but didn't speak much English including reception staff. Rooms clean and comfortable grounds and gardens fabulous and great views, next to the beach and an array of shops and restaurants nearby.
My stay was good but I'm extremely disappointed at how the hotel has handled my first cancelled booking. I booked to travel on the 6th of November with my 3 children, but I broke my ankle on the 2nd of November so could not travel. The hotel was advised that my son and I could no longer travel but my other son and daughter traveled together with a friend who took my sons place by requesting a name changeI contacted my travel agent to obtain a cancellation invoice for my insurance claim but was told the hotel could not confirm whether I travelled or not. I don't understand how the hotel can fail to confirm this information and yet they photocopy guest passport at check in. I am still waiting for this confirmation.
Good buildings, good site, but badly run.
We arrived Friday night. Saturday morning we found the shower drain was blocked. water everywhere, into the corridor. We reported this, "We will fix it now".Saturday afternoon, we complained again. "We will fix it now".Sunday morning we complained again. "We will fix it now". Sunday afternoon, ditto.Sunday evening they gave us another room.In the restaurant, the waiters seemed untrained, they would barge across the front of you to collect an empty plate. The Gala Dinner could have been good, but ruined by excessive volume. We had to go outside to rest our ears.
There was nothing to fault with this hotel, it is well kept, rooms cleaned every day, staff are supper friendly and hospitable, nothing is too much. Breakfast and Dinner are amazing with plenty of choice - food is well cooked and beautifully presented, i was so inspired by the landscaping of the hotel. the Beach is across the road and very clean.i want to say a special thank you to the cleaners who serviced our room 111 (fatimazarah) the pool guard - Said Ichbikil who is professional polite but so friendlythe waiters / waitresses i could not get all the names but here goes - Abdullah, Sophia, Ayo, the elder gentleman who served us on my birthday 4th Nov and the manager in the blue jacketNadim the tour arranger and two of his staff team were phenomenal - Abdul who took us to Paradise Valley IS AN EXEMPLA of professionalism and kindness and Mohamed who took us on the city tour on the 4th Nov - so patient and accommodating as i was shopping and always late back to the bus - but he was not angry and gave so much practical advice about the Souk market. With a very very special thanks to the entertainment team who work so hard to make everyone feel included and having fun - Kamal Z / Abde N / Soufiane T and Nacer K Their visibility and commitment should be rewarded and commended and they are the reason that my husband and i will return and recommend this hotel on our social media inforconsultancy1 and rconsultancy1
i tried to get the email of the manager as i wanted to discuss some future business but the reception did not seem to understand my request - i sent an email to reception but this has not been answered yet. Hopefully this review will be answered.i would like to suggest that the food which may be wasted should be given to the poor /homeless / refugees as there are plenty of poor people so close to the surroundingsWould be nice if there was a room we could do some ironing and washing and a kettle in the room.
We had an amazing holiday in this hotel. Room and common areas were all very clean.Very friendly and helpful staff. The dinners were included in our booking, and as we arrived at around midnight and obviously missed the first dinner, the gentleman at the reception offered us to eat for free in the fast food bar. Very nice gesture! The animators were also extremely kind and engaging with the children. We appreciated all the different activities, both for adults and children (aquagym, yoga, football, games, darts, belly dancing, tajine cooking, kids disco, Miniclub for the toddlers, etc.). We didn't expect so many activities in a low season (beginning of November). There was a thematic dinner and show for each evening. Breakfast and dinner were all delicious, with a big variety of food, for everyone's taste. We had lunch in the fast food bar of the hotel which was also delicious and very reasonably priced, even compared to restaurants outside the hotel. The room was spacious, with a nice view on the pool and the sea.The garden of the hotel is beautiful and very well maintained. We felt in security all the time, both inside the hotel as well as outside in the surroundings. The ocean was cold for us at this time of the year but we saw some people swimming. The pool temperature was a bit cold for me but not for our children (age 4 and 7). :-) The beach was just across the street.
Location and animation staff
Reception’s staff very unwelcoming persons
Great location
Very poorly managed property. Towels and bedding looked more grey then white. Rooms are smelly, definitely needs upgrades.
The location cannot be beat, close to everything. All staff were very friendly and hotel grounds are beautiful. Food choices were also good. Parking on site, although tight, we were always accommodated (we had two cars). This was my second stay at this hotel after a very long time, and I hope that if I ever go back to Agadir, I can stay there again with rooms in a much better shape.
Rooms are outdated, renewing them would really complement this hotel. There was no trash can in the rooms. We had to collect our trash in a plastic bag since even after asking one of the cleaners for a trash can, we didn’t get one. We booked two family apartments for our 10 person family, they were overbooked and tried to give us two quadruple rooms with fold out beds to sleep the extra two people. After some back and forth, we were given an extra double room, which did solve our problem. Not a single hook in the bathroom; where are guests supposed to hang their towels? It’s ridiculous but seems to be quite normal since I have had this problem at many other hotels in other countries.
Location
Management and lack of care to the customers. Little things like soap, towels, directions…
The hotel has nice view to the beach But tv channels is very poorWiFi is only available in reception in rooms is very poor in restaurant not at all
tv channels not working Towels very old WiFi is poor accept in reception
Disappointing Experience – Needs Serious Improvement
We had a very underwhelming stay at Hotel Club Almoggar Garden Beach. Upon check-in, we were mistakenly given a room that was still occupied. The bellman apologized to the guest but not to us, which set the tone. The room was very outdated and had a non-functioning AC. Maintenance claimed it was due to a code on the remote, which wasn’t helpful.Breakfast was chaotic—dirty tables even at 8 AM, and my wife's omelette request was forgotten. A simple request for a dipper (since the toilet had no bidet) turned into a frustrating experience; the housekeeper suggested using a used plastic bottle, which was quite unhygienic. To top it off, when we returned in the evening and asked for water, the night receptionist rudely laughed and said water is only free at check-in. For a resort charging 1800 MAD for 2 nights, basic hospitality like clean facilities, working amenities, and drinking water shouldn’t be too much to ask.Agadir is beautiful, but sadly, this hotel did not reflect the warmth and service Morocco is known for. My wife was relieved that we were finally checking out.
Location is perfect - close to the beach and marina. It is a good value for money.
Breakfast were the same everyday. In late morning/afternoon there were no fresh towels to swap.
breakfast, location, rooms were nice. Staff very helpful
Meals, staff, communal facilities, location, close to beach
Room was very dusty, lack of towels, put us in the most furthest room from hotel, cleaning lacking, beds hard as a rock and pillow, lack of pillows, toilet flush was dodgy, gave couple 2 single beds
Very close to the beach
Absolutely bad room, not even near what we get in the pictures when booked. Sockets don't have any electricity power. Walls, etc, need full renovation. Very old hotel. Fake images when booking rooms.
Big rooms. Two pools. Very close to the beach. Shop and eateries on site.
Breakfast was the same every day - no variation. Food at dinner buffer was not replaced - so if you were a late arrival there was little to eat.The pools were not clean. Lots of grime and dirt. One filter for the whole pool but clearly wasn’t working. The gym, spa and kids club were closed for Ramadan. Not explained why only these services were closed when other services were open. This was not communicated to us in advance and were the main reasons we chose the hotel. The room had a cleaner come every day but bedding wasn’t changed once in 7 days. The balcony area wasn’t cleaned once. Some staff were helpful, some were not - your request a drink and they’d never come back.
The hotel is right by the beach and comes with two outdoor pools.
The food is appalling! No taste, too much oil. Hated it. Also, bus service is terrible. I believe it is so in an attempt to twist our arm into getting overpriced taxis.
Family friendly hotel in great location. Spacious rooms with comfortable bed. Quiet area, close to beach, great for walks. Great value for money
Coming late for dinner would be disappointing for lack of food left. Quality of dinner food only good, great breakfast
