Kabir from hotel was super nice and helpful person. He always ask if he can help or advise. Hotel is quite basic, but there is everything we needed. Perfect localisation!

Historical building but need renovation. Only one toilet for four rooms...

Toilet out of the room and bathroom was out of the room and in different floor and there is no left

I found the hotel in a nice quiet location, and I'm pleased with the good service and friendly reception staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Great view from the rooftop. Beds were comfortable. Location is perfect as you are in the heart of the medina. Cheap

The toilet never had any toilet paper in it. Seen other reviews with the same point so surprised that it hadn't been addressed. The toilet was also not cleaned properly with streaks visible from other people. There was a cat outside the room every night that would be yowling all night which made it difficult to sleep sometimes.

Small coffin like room

Oldschool hotel with atmosphere. Perfect location in the heart of medina, but calm in the night. Kabir and the other gentleman at the desk were nice and helpful. Room was bright, spacious and clean.

The only problem are very noisy doors from rooms and shared bathroom. It was impossible to close/open them quietly in the night, even if I'd tried. And some other guests hadn't tried at all..

The place is simple, with a great vibe and a clean bathroom. Kabir is an amazing person who is both professional and friendly. Mohamed is also very helpful. Since I've been going there for many years, I always feel secure and at home. Everything is conveniently located near the hotel. I'll return once more. Thank you Kabir and Mohamed :)

The staf, receptionist, was very kind and pleasant. The hotel location is exceptional. The rooms are comfortable and clean

The location is perfect for exploring the the old quarter and all of the staff are very friendly. Kabir is very knowledgeable about the area and happy to give advice on places to visit and things to do.

Great value , great location. Very nice staff. Kebir was really friendly and helpful. They don't do coffee but there's a great cafe just round the corner. The roof has one of the best views over the city

Rooms a bit small and dark, you can't really spend time in them except to sleep. But that was fine with me as it was great value and that's all I wanted to do.

One blanket not adequate

Location is very good and easy to find from the taxis stand. The roof top is an added bonus, with a great view all around. But I want to take the opportunity to praise the lady cleaner for doing such a great job of keeping the place spotless. I actually both saw and heard her every morning moving the furniture around and cleaning behind the beds, I saw her washing sheets and blankets every time guests left their room. I hope the hotel appreciate how lucky they are to have her.

When I booked the room I specifically asked for a bright room with a big window letting the sun in as December is not summer time. The rooms given to single customers are facing the front street, have small windows and are rather gloomy and cold. Fortunately after a few nights the bulb stopped working and I was offered a tween room with a big window with the sun warming it. Much better.

Nice hotel in the old town/medina of Essaouira. Cost value ratio is good and Kabir is probably one of the kindest receptionists I have ever met in 35 years of travelling. He is a very smart guy, talks several languages fluently and is always willing to help you out in case of questions. Gebhard
