Villa Quieta

Great location Beautifully furnished place & nice breakfast!

We stayed there 2 nights about 1 mile away from the medina. However, there were 10 Dinar taxies readily available so it was great. Breakfast was excellent. Room was good except the bathroom was a hike.

1 bathroom that was available, were at the lower level from the room .. like a basement. While roomy, it was hard to get to especially at night. I wish there was a toilet on the main floor.

Lovely place very close to the beach but also very quiet. Amazing art. Great breakfast. Very kind and friendly staff.

The breakfast was good, wifi was goosd, room was excellent. Although we didn't use the pool it is a good size pool. The property is close to the beach. One can get simple sandwich etc. for lunch.

The property doesn't have a restaurant for dinner. There are a few restaurants in about 10 minutes walk.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very large.

The room had a musty, damp odor. Poor sound control between rooms. We could hear every word from the people in the room next to us, even when they were talking at a normal level.

We had two rooms one was a suite and one was a regular room. The suite was huge it accommodated us. We had a pool view and a balcony.

The only thing was they didn’t really have any food there besides the breakfast

Absolutely amazing room overlooking the sea in a fantastic Hotel. Room was huge and bright but the blackout shades allowed for total darkess in the morning. Pool is beautiful and there are many places to relax throughout the villa including a beautiful sea view terrace. Location is a short taxi from the Medina so if you want to escape the hustle and bustle and have a relaxing sea side getaway this is the hotel for you. Would highly recommend.

Breakfast was everything you need- croissants, bread jam, eggs if you want them, yogurt, cereal, orange juice, coffee. Location was lovely, a 15 minute stroll on the beach to the Medina. Supermarket is a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute (8 dirham) petite taxi ride away. Beach is literally across the street. Pool was lovely! Staff super helpful. ???

Fantastic location right next to the beach. The breakfast was awesome and generous. There is a pool which was very welcomed as the sea can be difficult to access (unless you are kite surfing). The rooms are beautifully decorated, large and super comfortable. Staff are all super friendly and welcoming.

It would have been nice to have a small lunch menu there too as all meals have to be taken outside of the villa (except for breakfast). Be prepared for a good 20min walk into the town (Medina). You can get a taxi in/back.

We had a great 3 nights staying here and visiting Essaouira. The room was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 teenage children - large and comfortable with a king-sized bed and 2 big singles up on a mezzanine. The staff were reserved but always friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious and very generous. It worked well for us being right by the beach for surfing and football, and we enjoyed the 20 minute walk along the beach esplanade (or a quick 10mdr taxi ride if you don’t fancy walking) up to the Medina. The pool was lovely and would be great in hotter weather, but a bit cold when we visited in April.

The authenticity of the design and the staff was very helpful, kind and professional.

I never like having carpet in the rooms and dining space because of allergies.

The stay at Villa Quieta was the highlight of our trip to Morocco. I wish we had stayed longer. I read some critical comments on Google calling it "just another hotel" and complaining about the shabby furniture. Well, believe me, it is NOT just another hotel, not even close, and the furniture was the last thing we were thinking about during our stay. We LOVED the decor, the location, the room, the breakfast, the attitude of the staff. It was wonderful, wonderful!!! Many thanks to Villa Quieta for such a comfortable and relaxing stay in the midst of the hectic Moroccan environment. We will be back!

This was our second trip to Morocco, but the first to Essaouira. We loved it, and it's become our favorite location. We wanted to stay away from the busy center and chose Villa Quieta for that reason. It was the perfect choice and lived up to its name. It's near an expansive beach, within easy reach of the Medina and harbor, and has an authentic feel with traditional Moroccan design. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and the room was spacious with a balcony view of the ocean. We would definitely stay here again.

I love the hotel: its decor, the garden with a swimming pool. Breakfast was delicious.

Room was very tied looking and very very cold…hand to front door to our room was loose..Also very awkward to get in and out…

Best hotel we’ve ever stayed in! Absolutely beautiful hotel. Set in lovely gardens with a really pretty pool. Welcoming friendly staff who all went out of their way to be helpful. Delicious, generous breakfast. Spacious room. Really comfortable bed.
