Gorgeous decor, comfortable bed, great toiletries, beautiful terrace & shared rooms, large and well-appointed bedroom, super-helpful and friendly staff, fantastic location.

Our room (Amane) had a fireplace, and while we didn't make a fire, smoke came down the chimney into our room from elsewhere and it smelled like a campfire & was hard to breathe. Heater barely worked. I'd have liked more privacy without closing curtains.

The manager was outstanding both prior and during our stay.

The rooms were really spacious and luxurious! The breakfasts were delicious and filling. The location is tucked back near the wall at the coast. It's about an 8 minute walk from the drop off, but worth it to be in a more private nook and not in the thoroughfare...and you are steps from everything you need. There's a lovely view from the roof deck, with a jacuzzi and great spot to enjoy sunset. The staff was wonderful...beds were great!

Beautiful hotel and rooms. A peaceful spot within the bustling Medina. Staff were so kind and helpful.

From.the moment I arrived at this hidden little gem everything was wonderful. I was travelling alone for a horse riding holiday and staying outwith before the trek and after here.I was welcomed from the start and absolutely lived my stay. My room was absolutely gorgeous, full of character and added to my Morroccon experience. The Riad is hidden away like most of them but was very easy to find when I found my bearings.The breakfast is were delicious and there was lots of places to sit and chill. The terrace was lovely to watch the sunset.I will ? stay here again.

We loved the minimalistic interior with earthtone coloured Tadelakt and natural light. Quiet, spacious and comfortable. Will miss the heated flooring.

Very nice and comfortable hotel. The interter is really stylish, the staff is hospitable. The location is quite convenient: the central street is a 1-minute walk away, the embankment is 5-7 minutes away. The bus station can also be easily reached in 10 minutes by walking just in a straight line. I had a very good impression of you, thank you!

Not worth the price. Unclean room, and a bathtub but no hot water. We were very disappointed and told we would get a refund after complaining but then never heard of them again…

Rooms are amazing, big and comfortable. Amazing floor heating in the bathroom. You feel home

We doubt AC was working, but we had a radiator and AC wasn’t needed.

The architecture and interior decoration are beautiful - masterfully achieved simplicity. Great mix of tradition and modernity. The breakfast area, the room, the bathroom, the stairs, the library area all offered pleasure to our eyes and peace of mind, night and day.

No presence of the owner or manager who has the decision-making power. :(

Amazing riad in the middle of the Medina. Youssef (and all the other members!) were amazing, kind and professional!Bedroom was gorgeous and slept 12hrs in the amazing bed.Breakfast was divine!We will definitely come back here next time!

There was some noise from some of the guests staying in the room above, not helped by the stone floors.

Very clean, great location, everyone was kind and helpful, breakfast was amazing.

Nothing really only thing I would say is the hot tub needs to be cleaned more regularly.

Had such a comfortable stay at Riad Dar Maya. Super centrally located in the medina, very close to the old town wall. A quiet, calm part of town, at this time of year anyway. Everyone working at the riad was super kind and accommodating. Jacuzzi and rooftop were very luxurious and a delightful place to hang out in the Essauoira sunshine. Room (suite really) was gorgeous. The interiors of the riad were so stylish, clearly developed lovingly by someone with a great eye for design. Then the BREAKFAST - wow. All the stops were pulled out. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts!

Fantastic location in the very center of Essaura. Modern version of Morrocan style interiors is amazing. Every detail is perfect. The bathroom looks like from harem. Very spacious and comfortable common spaces.The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The choice of food could be better. 4 times the same ingrediences.Price of Booking was far higher, than I saw in hotel.
