The view, the attention to detail, the service, the hammam and massage, the food. Everything was delightful and the owners made us feel at home immediately.

That it is so far away from my own home and that I couldn't stay longer!

Beautiful riad with sea views and spacious, sunny rooms. Good breakfast served in a cafe on the rooftop. Friendly, helpful staff, who offered excellent restaurant recommendations. Location convenient to main sights in the Medina.

I got sick that night and i am not sure if its because of food at a restaurant near by or was it maybe the glass water bottle what wasn't a sealed water bottle. was it tap water or bottled water in the room? i recommend serving only bottled water. i skip breakfast the next morning because i wasn't sure if id keep the food down.

Beautiful views, a show of seagulls gliding in the wind is always on, on the terrace and on the beach, massage, hamam and very friendly staff

The staff are very friendly and the property is so lovely, well decorated, comfortable and very close to all spots The breakfast is made with love and Almost everything is home made (even jam)

The views are spectacular! From the suites we rented to the rooftop for breakfast. Incredibly located completed immersed in Essaouira. Also Loved the hamman treatments we had.

This is a gorgeous riad in a great location. It is just a few blocks from the heart of the medina, yet it is very quiet. The view from the terrace is amazing. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay. Essaouira was our favorite place in the country.

The staff, in particular Zeinab, makes the place an absolute pleasure to stay at. Super helpful, kind, thoughtful and hospitable! The breakfast on the terrace is also quite delightful and the location is great!

Beautiful Riyadh with spacious rooms and a wonderful view of the ocean from the rooftop breakfast area. Wonderful staff supportive in every way. Breakfast sample and satisfying. location grade inside the Medina but only a 5-minute walk from parking. Would not hesitate to look here again.

The staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful. The location was great. Room size was wonderful.

I think reserving an ocean view would be best. The room that is not ocean view allowing for the fresh ocean air was stuffy. A fan would be useful.

Beautiful room with the best ocean view. The decor of the room was beautiful and the staff were helpful and welcoming. The breakfast view was great. Food was good too. It’s a Riad and you have to go through Medina which can be a bit challenging but absolutely fun to walk in the Medina.

Nothing negative

Well located property close to the ramparts of the fort; the Place Moulay Hassan is just a 10 min walk along the ramparts. The interiors of the riad has been done up beautifully and has some rooms and suites. All are named after some gemstone. We stayed in the Topaz from whose windows we could glimpse the seawaters only when the tide was high. The room was quite spacious with super comfortable beds. The bathroom too was decent size with a bathtub instead of a bath area. The staff at the reception Ismail and Zainab were very helpful and friendly, the latter providing precise directions and map of the medina. The riad is at a distance from the medina walls and a porter would be needed to cart your bags from Bab Marrakech to the riad; Bab Doukala is closer but getting a porter from there may be difficult. Breakfast is pretty decent but the ocean views from there are excellent.

A tea/coffee kettle and a minibar would have been nice as the rooms have space for them.

We had a one night stay here. We knew we wanted to be on the ocean so this was a good option. We have a family of four so we had to get two rooms which made the price more expensive as there is no family room that fits four people. Our timing wasn’t great as they were doing work on the rooftop so it was not quiet and comfortable up there. The breakfast was very good.

Everything was perfect - the bedroom, bathroom, roof terrace, breakfast, staff and location in the Medina.

Maybe the breakfast room could be a little more vibrant and decorative. Some music in the breakfast room and on the terrace would create more of an ambience ?

Bathroom or rather shower area floor tiles needs some sort of non-slippery materials to avoid falls! A very unsafe surfac when combined with soap amd water!

Couple on their honeymoon here. So much to love about Riad D’Eau! Ishmael and Zineb at the reception are amazing! So helpful. The property is beautiful and directly on the ocean. Our suite faced the ocean. The rooftop has an amazing view of the ocean too. The breakfast on the rooftop was great. The location is right in the Medina (shops and food) but one block off of the main drag so quiet. Had great massages through the hotel. We highly recommend this accommodation for couples or families! So great!!
