Ryad Watier & SPA

We loved our room with it's comfortable bed and our little private patio. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Really delicious breakfasts in the morning.

Location in the Medina is excellent. The furnishings and finishings throughout the property are artistically curated and luxurious. Very lovely. Viewing the sunrise on the roof was spectacular.

I could hear running water from the unit above me (running toilet, I think)

Fatiha, Hyat and Gabriel were our favorite things (people! ) about the property. Fatiha and Hyat helped us with anything and everything and made sure we got taxis and directions and pointed out the best things to see. Gabriel, the owner, has created a beautiful and comfortable riad in Essauoria- I cannot recommend it highly enough. We loved it so much. It’s in a great location as well, not far to get to taxis and the bus and taxi station.

Excellent breakfast, very helpful hosts, Wifi was good, room was enormous and lovely, and the Turkish-style bath and massage were heavenly.

Wonderful hosts, beautiful and well maintained rooms. The riad’s common areas are very charming and authentically decorated.

Cosy, quite, smells excellent at any time of the day, warm place. The room was perfect and so charming with very nice local furniture and design.

Truly a gem of a Riad in the medina of Essaouira, run by the incredible Hayat and Fatiha who make the place feel like home. Not only was the stay excellent, but they went above and beyond in helping us plan our stay during the busiest weekend of the year in Essaouira, the Gnawa music festival.

I liked the experience of staying in the Ryad. Breakfast was very nice. The rooms were cozy and nicely decorated. Loved the decor and the host was very nice.

Just a note that there is no air conditioning and that the window I had in my room faced the interior court yard. It was not a problem. It was not too hot there.

The property is beautiful and beautifully furnished. Our room was large, lovely and quiet. We looked forward to the breakfasts on the roof, which were delicious. Good location in the Medina. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. This was the nicest place we stayed in our three weeks of traveling around Morocco.

We loved this Riad and would definitely recommend. It is super clean and the food is great. The location is perfect. The owner made us dinner reservations each night. Suggested spots for happy hour and booked ATVs on the beach. Our room was comfortable and we look forward to returning.

Ryad is a walk up building so stairs are to be kept in mind.

We can’t see enough good things about our hostesses, Hayat and Fatia (forgive me if I spelled that incorrectly) well, located in secretive in that way, we had a gorgeous large room with comfortable beds and a couch. We also had a little terrace to catch sun, although we were there when it was cool.. breakfast was ample and their special mixed nut butter toooo tasty. It enriched our journey being able to have such intimate conversations with these fine examples of modern Moroccan women. PS they serve beer. And have very wonderful recommendations for restaurants. I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

It was a little cold while we were there with no option to heat the room. And although all of the lighting was beautiful, the bathroom could’ve used more light for my old eyes.. so

It was a small boutique hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, wonderful location and a delicious breakfast.

Artistically decorated Riad. A wonderful welcoming aroma on the stairwell, lots of nooks and corners to escape in, very peaceful and welcoming. Large room with wonderful shower and locally-sourced toiletries. A sumptuous breakfast of local treats and eggs cooked to order. Staff went out of their way to accommodate our every need.

Location is great in the medina and loved my private hammam experience & massage - what a delight! The 2-bedroom, 2-level room was perfect for our family to have enough space too. Such friendly staff - thank you so much!

I absolutely loved this Riad, especially because of the warm and welcoming team that truly makes you feel at home. Hayat, Fatima, and the rest of the women are incredibly friendly, courteous, and always willing to go the extra mile for their guests. I also really appreciated the unique concept of the Riad being entirely run by women. On top of that, the décor is charming, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The heated blanket was a lovely touch—it kept the bed wonderfully cozy.

Once you enter the Blue door into this impressive building , you know that you are in the very best beautiful Riad . Hayat and her staff give you a warm welcome and mark a map with the best places to go visit . Meanwhile inside the Riad for book lovers there is a wonderful book collection … and a terrace roof top with sunbeds to just relax !!
