Hotel Park Central

I liked the private parking lot and the hotel¿s location to food and entertainment.

I have no complaints

The location was great, the staff was welcoming, the restaurant was nice

The facilities were kind of old, the wardrobe in our room was stuck closed.

Floors on lower levels can be quite noisy as most facing main street

Location right in the center of Sliven. Our room was cleaned every day of our stay.

The A/C kept turning on during the night even after we turned it off multiple times. Some of us had to switch rooms during the night, as it was way too cold in the room.

Very central hotel, cosy rooms and good restaurant. You are plenty in the center of the city close to the main pietanal area with all the cafeterias and restaurant close to the hotel

Nothing really

We've stayed at the Park Central Hotel many times before, and we've always had a good experience. That's why we decided to go back on this trip. We were not prepared for the disappointment that we experienced. After checking-in, we headed to the Presidential Suite that we had booked, only to discover that there was no air conditioning. The temperature in the apartment was 33C (about 91.4F). We also noticed a couple of fans that were brought into the apartment, apparently to alleviate the issue that we were not even informed about at check in. Returning to the front desk, the receptionist acknowledges the cooling issue, apparently affecting many rooms in the hotel (again, no mention of this originally at check in, even though they can monitor every room's temperature remotely and apparently were aware of the issue with fans present in the room), and offers to give us a smaller room, to which we agree, as long as the temperature is more acceptable. That room was at a "balmy" 31C (87.8F), but there was also a catch - it was only available for one night (we were staying 3 nights), so we were advised that we would have to talk to the crew the following morning to see if we can stay in that room or if we would have to go back to the scorching Presidential suite (apparently there were no other rooms available to accommodate 2 adults and a child). We were also told to go grab one of the fans from the Presidential suite ourselves if we wanted one in our smaller room (customer service at a 4 star hotel).I don't even want to talk about the breakfast - we've had better at a 2 star roadside motel. This is a hotel that has a pretty decent restaurant, but for some reason they decided to tank the complimentary breakfast - meager selection with one utensil for several dishes to share.Coming back to this hotel after several years, we can definitely say that it has changed for the worse.

Location and staff were wonderufl

They said they had air conditioning, but upon arrival there was no air-conditioning in the whole building and we were not notified prior to checking that it was down. It was very hot.

Welcoming staff. Lovely room. Great location.

Sadly there was no hot water or electricity one morning.

The person at the reception was jovial. He accepted my bike at the hotel reception.

I had symptoms of food poisoning a few hours after breakfast: nausea, diarrhea. Even today as I write this review I don't feel well. My colleagues stayed at another hotel and felt fine. Personally I will avoid this hotel.

Good location, conveniently situated, close to restaurants and shops .

Good location and breakfast

The hotel has an excellent location in the very central area. It is close to main walking area, market and shopping area.It is clean and well maintained. The room and bathroom were well equipped and very clean. The breakfast was also good.

The furnitures are a bit old.

Room clean & tidy. Bathroom excellent with bath & shower.Staff helpful and efficient, speaking good English.

Breakfast not so good except coffee machine super. Cold fried eggs, poor bacon, almost no veg.Breakfast not available until 07:30 so always late for 8 a.m. work start.

I still think it's on the expensive end for one person in a single roomI think it works out good value for money in the bigger rooms for two or more people Depending on floor level there could be noise from street (I'm particularly sensitive to noise though)Would be good if heating can be controlled in the room it was a bit warm for me

I liked a lot the supportive team on the reception who were always there for our questions and needs. The room was well equipped and sparking clean. The hotel is located in the heart of Sliven, so when you go out of the hotel, you are already in the center of the city.There is a parking for the hotel's guests which is very convenient.

I couldn't mention anything negative.

Carpet in the room was very worn outI think it can be a bit expensive for a solo traveller, definitely good value for money when two people share a room Can get quite noisy throughout the night if there are events on especially after midnight- in my situation it got resolved when I spoke to the staff

Breakfast is good but the staff in restaurant are not welcome us. The waitress is not polite . She is not suitable at this 4 stars hotel.

Clean, comfortable, location downtown, friendly personnel

Heating system malfunction, throughout my stay. I was provided with a small air heater.

Clean hotel, in good location and parking facilities. Friendly and very helpful staff in an emergency situation with car.
