Beautiful hotel architecture, a new building. Convenient and quiet location near a park. Many restaurants inside the hotel and nearby.Nice territory with cute turtles. Swimming pool.Clean and beautiful room. Nice view from the window. Huge bed. Balcony.Convenient public parking nearby (not marked on maps). Paid hourly; overnight parking costs €12.Friendly, professional, and helpful staff.

The pre-ordered breakfast and dinner options were quite strange. The breakfast buffet was good — everything tasty, fresh juice available. However, the complimentary menu options were rather low quality. The croque-madame was basically just a simple sandwich with bread, cheese, and ham.Dinners have a fixed menu with no choice. One day everything can be very tasty, another day — strange and unclear dishes.It might make sense not to pre-order dinner.We appreciate the sustainability features implemented in the hotel: minimal waste, reusable water bottle, and filtered water available on each floor. However, it would be better if the bottle and the filter were cleaner.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. From the map I thought it was far from the city center, but it was right on the main street. We could walk out from the hotel and be on a lovely street with a very wide pedestrian walkway. It was great for an early morning walk or after dinner stroll. Very safe area And across the street from a gorgeous park. The rooms were clean and comfortable, even if the furniture was a little dated. Excellent coffee machine in the room and we had a balcony overlooking the pool, which we loved. Very quiet in the rooms! On site restaurant was fabulous. Several outdoor sitting areas with excellent service. Dinner in the main restaurant was outstanding. Surprisingly the food and drinks were not expensive. In my opinion. For example, we had three specialty alcoholic coffee drinks, and it was only €15.

Person in next door room was smoking on the balcony which is not allowed. I tried to call reception to complain, but there was no answer.

The main areas of the hotel are quite nice - colonial style and lots of lush plantings that were very pleasant to look at. The hotel is well located in a nice residential area with an excellent Indian restaurant across the street. There is a beautiful park across the street as well. It is pleasant 15 minute walk to the centre of town. The room was spacious with a nicely tiled bathroom and separate toilet and bidet room.

I paid to upgrade to a balcony king room with a garden view. We overlooked the umbrellas of the breakfast restaurant which was not only an uninspired view, it was very noisy from about 7AM. We woke up quite early due to time change. We turned on the TV and immediately the next door occupant started banging on the wall. Earlier, we had heard that occupant very clearly when he was talking on the phone. It appears there is little or no sound insulation between the rooms. The carpet in the hallway to the rooms was dingy as was the baseboard trim. The hallways need a face-lift.

Room was as expected -- had been before. Breakfast buffet is great, staff are wonderful. Gym is very good. Spa is great. Bartenders very attentive and friendly. Beautiful surroundings.. Kon Tiki restaurant is exceptional.

Pool was being renovated for the duration of the stay.. noise and parts of the pool closed off... workers were so slow--- could have done the renovations of the decking in 2 days if they had worked from the morning until the eve but were rarely there--on some days made the poolside areas quite busy. Because of renovations the pool was slightly dirty.. ear infection picked up (for the second time at this hotel unfortunately)-- definitely due to pool activities. AC was either on full blast or too warm, so a little cold at night.

Everything was amazing. It was the best breakfast I ever had, nice staff, beautiful garden, pleasant pool, calm neighborhood.

Incredible spacious room, with a wide choice of options to cater for all. Hand sanitiser available and very clean. staff exceptional and ready to help. Noth option to eat indoors and outdoors.

The property was very clean and very convenient location. Had excellent breakfast and the pool restaurant was very good. Also the SPA facilities were amazing.

The hot shower, the temperature was very unpredictable. Very hot and changes to cold randomly. Also the sink did not drain properly. Needs attention .

We love everything about this hotel. It is the fourth time we have stayed here and can't wait to go back.The rooms are amazing. The breakfasts are amazing. This time we went half board and the evening meal were also amazing.

We stayed in a junior suite this time and for the price would have liked a balcony and a soft close toilet seat.

The location if staying in Santa Cruz is perfect. The hotel pool and spa were wonderful.

The food at the hotel restaurants were okay, not great.

The location has ‘classic’ 5⭐️ charm. All your staff are AMAZING and made us feel very, very welcome. I can’t remember everyone’s name but I really do mean EVERYONE. Carlos for example (working by the pool & at breakfast was super).But all your stall are excellent.We had two excellent deep tissue massage on Saturday these were of the highest standard & very professional.We use the gym as a couple and this space was immaculate and very well equipped.It was a lovely surprise to have a ‘salt water’ pool without chemicals.On Sunday evening we had a very memorable meal in the Kontiki restaurant which was absolutely delicious. I only ‘tiny’ request is the your steam room in the spa could definitely be hotter, I think that is the only thing to be considered.

The place is beautiful!

Several things were wrong for this price:1) it was not spotless clean, we found hairs in the bathroom2) it cost an extra 40€ to use the sauna and inside swimming pool3) the parking is not included even though it is indicated "parking hotel". About 12€ a night...4) the bathroom is poorly equipped, not even ear swabs.5) they do not advise to drink water from the tap, but instead of giving you complimentary bottles in the room (like any hotel in the world), they make you go to the elevator to fill the jar yourself.I would not recommand as the value for money is not right.

Spectacularly wonderful hotel. Spotless, Clean, comfortable bed and big room. Do not miss breakfast!!! Great location. Highly recommended.
