Hotel Puerto Palace

The staff was friendly and helpful. The property was beautiful and the sea view room had great views.

The Wifi did not work very well in our room. There was only part of the room where we'd get the signal, and even then, it was pretty slow.

Staff and check-in were excellent. Location ess great gor walking.

Food options were not good at all except bar pizza. And the entertainment catered to an elderly crowd. Lots of seniors citizens and no pool table or entertainment for young adults or teens.

Very clean and well maintained rooms. Breakfast was excellent with different menu each day and dinner was exceptional as well. Live music with dance floor was much fun. Pools and other entertainment options were great.

Location wasn't that great and WiFi connection was really bad. Rooms were colder and it gave our little one fever as well. Maybe because we had beach view room and balcony insulation wasn't great.

Location, close to bus station. Good buffet breakfast and dinner. Very clean and staff was super helpful. Outdoor pools and jacuzzi's were very clean.

It was a very good choice for the family, We enjoyed our stay. Rooms are big and clean, breakfast and dinner offer plenty of choices, there is entertainment every night and the bar services are great. The location is good for close by objectives but on this hotel you need to have a car rented else there are long walking distances.

Not sure how the aircon can be stopped, we tried opening the balcony door and it did the trick still there should be an option to control the room temperature yourself. Parking is a challenge but you can find available places nearby.

Hotel itself was very nice. We had a room that was supposed to have a sea view, which it had, but it was more of a "tennis court view", but it didn´t really matter to us, cause we didn´t spend our day at the room, but at the pool. Which was great - huge pool, lovely temperature, clean water. And there were a lot of sunbeds around the pool, we didn´t have a problem with it being overcrowded. From the pool you have a beautiful view to Mount Teide. The hotel staff was very nice, friendly. Room was cleaned everyday. Food at the restaurant was okay, but there could have been changes, it was very repetitive. Drinks at the hotel bar were rather .. meh. Hotel is located approximately 10-15min by walk to the city centre (keep in mind that the road is a bit steep, but nothing we couldn´t manage). It isn´t located in the busy part of the town, so there were plenty of parking spaces around the hotel when you rent a car. It´s a great starting point to the hikes and so on. Overall, I´d say we had a lovely stay at Puerto Palace Hotel, we do recommend.

Breakfast and dinners were a bit repetitive, not much change. We spent there just 4 days and I already had enough. But there is a wide selections of food. At the dinner, by the entrance to the restaurant, you tell hostess your room number and she gives you a ticket with your number, and when you sit at the table you wait for the waiter to come to take your order for the drinks (which are not included in the half board), and then he marks it at the ticket. All of this worked very smoothly for our first 2 days, but the other 2 days, we had to wait for the waiter for 15-20minutes, which was really annoying (cause I didn´t have any water). I don´t know if there was a shortage of staff those 2 days, but there were no drinks and noone was cleaning the plates from the table, which cause a little "panic" at the dining room.

The food was very tasty - breakfasts and dinners, always varied and fresh. The hotel has two excellent swimming pools - one with cool water, the second is warmer, which turned out to be very convenient, especially on cloudy days. There is also a tennis court and golf on the territory - you will definitely not get bored.The staff is very friendly, I would especially like to note the cleaning staff and the kitchen - everything is clean and delicious!

The location is good, although a little far from the sea, but this did not cause any particular discomfort.

Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Tight curtains. Comfortable mattress, but bad pillows. Safe walk to old town even at night. Many swimming pools.

Very small parking, and they didn’t have space. Difficult find parking space around. 15-20 min walk to central town, not beautiful walk road, not for everyone. Hotel needs renovation, very simple rooms. You can hear all neighbours. Music up late, if you room far, then it’s okay. No shops around. Few restaurants around, but I walked into old town.

Restaurant staff were super nice and the room cleaning was excellent. The pool area with two pools and two jacuzzi was great.Some comments criticize the rooms for being outdated but as I said, everything is super clean, the bed is very comfortable and all the rooms habe a nice balcony, so who cares abut the deco?

They charge you for the drinks at dinner even if you got half board, and they're ridiculously expensive. Also, there aren't many vegan optios at the dinner buffet so you're stuck with a boring salad or the like. Breakfast only starts at 7:30, so if you have to catch a morning flight, forget about having breakfast at the hotel.

Absolutely love this hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Room big and clean with balcony. Bed really big and comfortable. Bring a travel kettle if your English. Breakfast was included and great choice in a lovely room and by pool. Hotel is very relaxed lots of areas to sit. Entertainment most nights. Service great. Pool area really lovely lots of plants,palms and pretty. About 20 minute walk down steep hill to town. We loved everything. Visited Loro Parque and Mount Tiede. Siam Park in south and kids did quad biking. We would definitely come to Hotel Puerta Palace again and would highly recommend. Never felt like a Hotel, so friendly, spacious and pretty. Had a fabulous week ☺️ ?

Maybe pool could have been a bit warmer ?

Pool and garden area, beautiful view from our 3rd floor bedroom. Staff were helpful and friendly, especially Jesus at reception. Breakfast good but very busy at peak times. Entertainment in the evening was good fun.

Smoking allowed on balconies. The smell of smoke drifts into neighbouring balconies and rooms. They should have a non-smoking floor. A bit of a trek down to the sea-front but €5 taxi fare was fine.

The location was brilliant. Very chilled atmosphere.

The menu at evening could be more varied, and the dining staff was way under staffed.

Lots of activities - basketball, pool, mini golf etc. Pool area was lovely. Breakfast okay for a buffet. Good location for exploring the north of the island.

Not much food options without walking 20min or so. Although the Mexican right next door is delicious

The hotel is clean and well maintained. There were maintenance works being carried out during my stay (that didn’t interfere with my stay).The team working there were kind, helpful and friendly.The hotel pool area is beautiful and very well maintained.

In a 4 star hotel I would not normally expect to be charged for the use of safe.There is a very simple solution to updating the decor of the rooms. The curtains in this baroque pattern design have no place in a modern island hotel. By changing just that one element into a neutral colour linen curtain, the rooms would feel fresher and more in line with the area. It would benefit the hotel greatly.

The staff is great, they are very friendly and helpful. The pool and the gardens are beautiful.

The rooms are clean but somewhat outdated. We did not like the food so much at the buffet.

Very nice pools and common areas, but rooms are a bit outdated and need renovation. Otherwise we had a great stay, amazing view for rooms with sea view, very friendly staff, everything was great.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathroom also clean, huge and free amenities were provided. Staff is kind, but only the receptionist speaking english, the waiters not. The garden is beautiful, well maintained, full with plants. The prices in the hotels restaurant is affordable (2025 e.g.: CocaCola 3,7EUR, bottle of wine from 9EUR, water 3EUR). You can buy 1,5L bottle water in the shop inside the hotel during the daytime, or you can use the CocaCola vending machine which is working only with coins. The breakfast and the dinner was very nice. Great selection of fish and seafood, aswell as different type of meat, local food, salads, soups, desserts. There was every day pasta & pizza.

The sauna is located inside of the gym, which costs 20EUR/person/day, in my oppinion it is overpriced. The hotel has its own garage, however only a few parking places are available. In the surrounding streets you can find many parking places for free of charge, but you need to walk a bit. For a longer stay the breakfast and the dinner can be boing, as foods are repeating. Unfortunately our room was on the main floor, no view and other guests could see inside our room. I booked 2 rooms, in the first one we received 2 bottle of water and free fruit when we arrived, however in the 2nd room no water, no fruit.

Nice breakfast included, free shuttle bus, spotless hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Hotel guests were mostly older.

Location good very clean and staff helpful the breakfast was included and was OK with lots of choice we’ve stayed at this hotel and have never experienced any issues

In our room the bathroom smelt of ‘drains’ specially when closed up. Also the shower had intermittent very hot then cold water throughout the process not good if a family were there as it could scald children
