Pros +
- Everything was perfect! The entertainment staff is exceptional. Victor, Marina, Aitana, Elena and Paula were beyond great with the pilates, yoga, pool bike, aqua gym, core and stretching classes. The cocktails classes were mojito and sangria. But the best of all was the Mojo class, Victor’s instructions were really good and I am sure that his recipe will be made at most attendees homes. Kudos to all!!
- Very good hotel, very rulaxing, almost no kids in the hotel during our stay, so very rulaxing atmosphere. Very friendly and happy staff. We also stayed at the Princess hotel at La Palma but the staf at that hotel seems depressed and do not smile. The food was good! Nice rooms.
- This hotel has recently went throught transformation. It has renovated rooms, big spaces so it doesnt feel crowded despite a large number of guests. It is really fantastic especially when you choose the "level" experience which has a dedicated breakfest and lounge facility - I fully recommend this when there is a small cost difference. I was really happy with the stay
Cons -
- The airconditioning on all the rooms on the first floor are not functioning well. It will not get below 23 degrees in the rooms. After complaining we got another room on the first floor. Same problem. After complaining again. We got a room at the 3rd floor. The airconditioning on that floor works very good. The hallway was already much cooler than on the first floor. The technician at the hotel doesn't recognise the problem. That means that the problem will never be solved. So when you book Be sure you get on the 3rd floor. The airco can get the room to 19-20 degrees instead of 23 at the 1st floor. But this is the only complaint. We got some free water and small cookies for the problems we had. That was friendly from the staff. It is a great hotel. Just stay at the 3rd floor and you have the best stay ever!
- Parking situation is a bit absurd as you cannot do reservation but sometimes you cannot enter because of active reservations and you need to walk a longer distance.
- There were a few things that were not ok:1) HOTEL IS SCAMMING: the reception actively lied to make you pay more in the end. We only booked breakfast and asked during check-in how it would work if we would also like to add dinner. We were told it's 22€ per person per dinner, but if we would have dinner on all evenings of our stay (luckily just two) it would be 15€. We explicitely asked where we would have to tell that to if we want to use the offer and the answer was directly when we go to the restaurant - we also explicitely booked it to the room so that all gets collected on the final hotel bill. Then when we checked out we were badly surprised. The reception now claimed that it's not possible because the restaurant is extra and the price is 22€ and not the aforementioned 15€. In many other hotels fixing the bill according to what was promised was never a problem. In total we paid 28€ more but it is the principle that really made us angry. If they wouldn't first have told that the price is 15€ and then argue about it, all would have been ok for us, but this is absolutely a way of scamming tourists and INACCEPTABLE!2) Buffet looked ok at first, but one day they served rotten orange juice at breakfast. For the price they charge, another unacceptable thing. In general it is highly overpriced and the ratio of what you get is not in line with what you pay.3) Parking situation: a parking place can be paid for 10€ per night which is ok, however, access to get there is by a one lane street where all the guests who don't want to pay the parking fee try to park and wait for spots to become free which makes it very annoying to even reach the entrance of the official parking spot. When a car wants to get out of the official parking while you are driving down the lane, make sure you are very skilled in reverse driving and watch out. There is no possibility to turn so you just have to hope to make it in while no-one wants to drive out the same moment.

Hotel itself was ok for two nights, but it should be around 50% cheaper to have a fair price for what you really get there...our other stays in La Palma were MUCH better in that sense.

Fabulous room with an enormous balcony overlooking the sea with the wonderful sound of the waves. Excellent facilities with a heated pool and good pool bar. Lovely well trained staff. We went bed and breakfast and were happy with the food in the morning.
The evening entertainment wasn’t really for us so sat on our balcony with a glass of wine and listened to the waves!
Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Comfortable bed and shower. View in the breakfast area.
Parking was too small.
Staff was very friendly. Poolbar was nice. Rooms are clean. Nice view if you are lucky!
- No room service. - No tea, no coffee, no kettle in the room.- Rooms need a renovation. Showers lack from water pressure, toilets were scratched, wlan didn’t work properly, roomphone didn’t work, balcony door makes very loud noises, paint was falling off.- Activities go until midnight. This includes rather loud music you will hear. Balcony light also can’t be turned off until midnight.- Breakfast and food offers where disappointing. Orange juice, bacon and eggs cannot be enjoyed.- Prices are ridiculously high. You cannot drink tap water. 1 Liter of water costs 7.50 at the pool bar.- Half of the hotel seems like a ghost town and is not habitable.- The hotel is only considerable with a rental car. And if you have one there are far better and cheaper options on the island.Summarised: not deserving of 4 stars or the high price.
